By God's Wisdom, What Should The Actions Of A Man Toward A Woman Be? What Is Feminism?

The Eternal Creator designed and built the human persons as living mortal illustrations of both Himself and the single great treasure of His heart, the Church. He created the male person, which grows to manhood to represent Himself, the female person, which grows to womanhood to represent the Church, or individual Believer. This is the nuts and bolts, or the bottom line foundational premise of the great mystery that the Apostle Paul spoke of in Ephesians 5:22-33. The particular, very wisdom of which is being revealed to truth seekers in these lasts days before the advent of a new era. An era of time which is to happen, but has not yet been entered into, but is forcasted by the Holy Scriptures. (the Millennial Age) But it can not be entered into until both the kingdoms of light and the kingdoms of darkness grow to complete maturity, and the full spectrum and volume of the fruits of each kingdom are demonstrated in the world. In light of the coming of this new age, the culmination of this present age necessitates the Church coming to full maturity. Because of this, I commit this writing to truth seekers who are with honest and loyal hearts seeking to live Yahweh's truth in the world.

What Are, Or Could Be, The Actions Of A Godly Man Toward A Woman? (particularly a wife)

To answer this question we will follow a very simple course of thought and investigation. We will consider how Christ acts toward the Church and then endeavor to mimic His actions within the frame work of our human relationships, (particularly that of marriage). For after all, the male (man) was designed and built with exactly that purpose in mind. To be a living mortal representation of God. The woman was designed for exactly the purpose of being a living mortal representation of the Church (or individual Believer). So therefore, for a man to mimic Christ's (God's) attitudes and actions toward the Church (or individual Believer) is to walk out (flesh out) the life style and person that the Creator designed a man to be. Amen!

The Purposes Of A Woman (wife) In A Godly Man's Manner Of Thought.

She is to be loved and cherished as a great treasure and responsibility that has been given to him by God above. She is to honored, again in that she was given to him by God, and because an extreme amount of his service and response to the Almighty One is bound up in how he treats her. She is to be taught. She is to be encouraged. She is to be prayed for and worried about. She is to be studied, with the hope of doing the best a man can to understand her, in order to lift her up and cause her to blossom and bare the greatest amount of the fruits of productively and righteousness that she can bare. She's to be courted, not only in the beginning of the relationship, but to a degree forever. She's to be looked upon and admired. She's to be teased. For will a man tease a woman he doesn't appreciate? Not likely, generally he'll make a very wide circle around such a woman. She's to be complimented, and praised for many things. Her beauty, her charms, her labors, her intelligence, her understanding, her devotion to duty and what is good and right in life, and in the world. She is good to just at times sit and stare at, and admire, and enjoy. Hey, she's good to hold and touch and tickle and handle and undress and to enjoy passion and pleasure with. Yeah, sex is also a part of the package. She can, and should play the role of a major recipient of a man's love, for there can be a great amount of love in a man's heart. She's meant to partner with. So labor joined to labor, and mind joined to mind, creativity joined to creativity can accomplish tremendous things for the glory of God in the world and the furtherance of His purposes, and the betterment of God's family and the basic family unit. For a two fold cord is not easily broken, and the three fold cord is stronger yet. She's to share the wonder, joy and great sacrifice and adventure of being a parent with. She plays a very basic and important part in the Lord's teaching of man-as to really how the Believer is before him. For in observing the woman the man sees himself before the Lord. And believe me, that is a mixed package.

She's to be served, loved, cherished, lead, taught, guided, prayed for, believed in, shown patience and forbearance, shown gentleness and kindness, shown empathy, sympathy and mercy. She is to be honored, lovingly disciplined and corrected, complimented, encouraged, forgiven, worried over, day dreamed about, thanked, given thanks to God for, protected, desired, nurtured, cultivated, to be delivered in and from all sorts of situations. She's to be fought for, and yes, certainly also she's worthy to be fought over. Perhaps even in the struggle to protect and deliver her she is to die for, as well as for one's children that proceed forth from her. That a man would die for a woman, and/or her children, hasn't this depth of love been demonstrated innumerable times in the history of man? She's to be a partner, a lover, a friend, a confidant.

But this I will say. Of all the many and tremendous things that a man is to do for a woman, the which will even work to accentuate his very person and manhood. There is one thing that a man is never to do in regards to a woman. Never, Never, Never, Never, and Never!

He is not to surrender his headship to a woman. He is not to sit down and either promote or allow her to be his head, so that he follows her in life. This my friend and brothers is confusion before the Almighty Creator. This confusion (sin) fills our nation, and causes extreme hurt, and loss of honor. It is what is called feminism. This confusion is a copy of the very act of usurpation that Satan himself committed before the Eternal God. Feminism is a spirit of usurpation. It is the spirit of Satan. For Satan is the prince of usurpation. For of all the wonders and the excellence of the great grace of Christ shown to the lifting and honoring of the Believer, there is one thing that He has never done, and will never do, and that is to surrender His headship (that of being Lord) to the Church or to anyone else. He is Lord, and in like manner the husband is lord over the wife, also men in general are lord (head) over women in general. (this is called eldership rule) This is the way of truth, it is the way of God, and anything different is confusion and error.

Iowa's Supreme Court “legalized” Same Sex Marriage-Is Homosexuality Godly?-Can Gays Inherit Heaven?

Hey America: Lets talk about Iowa's Supreme Court's decision that “legalized” gay marriages in that state, and about whether homosexuality is godly, and about if such action and manner of life is congruent with the calling of God that our national father's felt in their hearts for this nation.

It was July 4th 1776. The delegates that represented the 13 American colonies had been for some days in committee on behalf of the whole of the American colonies. They were debating the issue of whether to declare independence from Great Briton or not. Why was this issue being discussed? What was the single most basic motivating factor that had moved the hearts of these English men (and the populace they represented) to consider declaring independence from the British Empire? I would say that the answer to that question is quite easily understood by the communication of a very common slogan of that day which went like this: We have no king save Jesus! For a great many reasons (there were 63 grievances submitted with the original Declaration of Independence) our nation's founders had determined that they could not serve King George and King Jesus at the same time. Thus on this day it was voted unanimously to declare independence from England, and establish their own central government, which was meant in their hearts and planning to be a government under God. Where His laws ruled supreme. This is obviously testified to according to the expression of Samuel Adams, who as one of the colonial delegates had participated in voting for the passage of the Declaration of Independence. After the passing of the declaration he is quoted as saying, “We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men out to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and .....from the rising to the setting sun, may His kingdom come.” 1

Of course, for the original 13 colonies to come to the place where they were willing to vote to cast off the rule of the British Empire was not an over night thing. It had been building for years, having been born of the sentiment of it's people, which for the greater part were God fearing. Which sentiment is echoed in these words that were in 1772 written as a part of a declaration of a small town on the “elbow” of Cape Cod, it's name being Chatham. They held, “civil and religious principles to be the sweetest and essential part of their lives, without which the remainder was scarcely worth preserving.” In like spirit, the men of Marlborough in the year 1773 proclaimed unanimously, “Death is more eligible than slavery. A free born people are not required by the religion of Jesus Christ to submit to tyranny, but may make use of such power as God has given them to recover and support their laws and liberties....” 2

Much more recently on Friday the 3rd of April, 2009 Iowa's Supreme Court “legalized” gay marriage in a unanimous and emphatic decision that makes Iowa the third state — and the first in the nation's heartland — to allow same-sex couples to wed. In its decision, the high court upheld a lower court's ruling that found that a state law restricting marriage to only be between a man and woman violated Iowa's constitution. "We are firmly convinced the exclusion of gay and lesbian people from the institution of civil marriage does not substantially further any important governmental objective," the Supreme Court wrote in its decision. "The Legislature has excluded a historically disfavored class of persons from a supremely important civil institution without a constitutionally sufficient justification."

America, let's reason together.

Let's start at the beginning. Lets first consider the sentiment of the One that created the world, as is revealed in the Holy Scripture. Now please keep in mind that we can only, for lack of time and space mention a very few Scriptural notations in regards to this subject. In Leviticus chapter 18 a rather elongated list of sexual sins are listed, among which is found a commandment directed toward males, “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” (NIV) A few verse later this statement is made, “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.” (NIV) So it is clearly seen that homosexuality is in Yahweh's eyes a detestable thing, and that at least in the case of the nations that inhabited the land of Canaan they were destroyed as a people because of the practice of this sin, among others. A New Testament writer named Paul many years after the prophet Moses had delivered the commandments of the law that condemned in them the practice of homosexuality, speaking of irreligious people (like very many in modern America) who grow more and more vile throwing off the knowledge of God described them like this, “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They became filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.” (Romans 1:26-31 NIV)

It is obviously clear to any honest heart that God's word forbids the practice of homosexuality and associates it with every sort of vile and depraved behavior. This is because sin always begets more sin. Even as righteousness and mercy begets more of the same, perversion will always beget more perversion. So we see that homosexuality is hated of God and that it will only serve to breed more and greater perversion, which in the final conclusion if not repented of, will bring the judgment of God to bare upon any person or nation of people.

The Iowa Supreme Court is quoted as saying, “We are firmly convinced the exclusion of gay and lesbian people from the institution of civil marriage does not substantially further any important governmental objective," Let's think about this statement. The Iowa Supreme Court says that to disallow gay and lesbian marriages (homosexuality) does not substantially further any important government objective. Ok, what is the objective of government? I would say that a very basic objective of government is to enforce law that will promote and maintain order and peace among it's people. With this in mind I will remind you of the wisdom of the Apostle Paul as was expressed in Scripture verse that is written above, which undeniably associated the practice of homosexuality with very many numerous vices which are any thing but conducive to peace and order among any people. (in fact, reading the list of these vises is much like reading the news headlines in America today) Therefore, I say to you that this state's Supreme Court by means of its irreligious and unbelieving heart has taken yet another step to encourage and promote the destruction of this nation by aiding the destruction of its moral character.

They are not the first state Supreme Court that has chosen to deny the continuing historical precedent of conservatism (fear of God) that our nation and its courts have held up from this nation's conception to accept and promote that homosexuality is right and therefore should be allowed and promoted by law. The Iowa State Supreme Court, by their very action declared that our national constitution, (which was created by a body of men who by both word and action proved that they both loved and feared the God of the Bible) was designed to include and promote the vice of homosexuality. I say this is a lie from the pit of hell. It is simply the wickedness of their own hearts being expressed through the judicial position that they occupy.

So to the godly of America I will ask, when will you rise up and throw off the tyranny of wickedness that the judges of this nation wish to impose upon you, corrupting your laws and institutions? Our national fathers could not abide the tyranny and corruption of King George. How long can we abide the tyranny and corruption of both the legislative and judicial branches of our state and federal governments?

There remains yet one more question to be answered that was asked in this article's title. Can the homosexual inherit Heaven? I would say that basic reasoning can answer this question very easily. Would you invite some one into your home to live with you that practiced a manner of life that was detestable to you? I think not. In like manner the God of all creation will not invite those who cling to any perversion to spend an eternity abiding in His presence. Simple reason teaches us this. This reasoning is verified by the revelation of the Scripture as is found in Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and the murderers, and the sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.” I would not say that this Scripture (or any other) offers any hope for those that practice the abomination of homosexuality to inherit eternal life, other then that they repent, crying out to God for mercy.

Repent America. Let us turn from the wickedness of our indifference. Let us turn from the every aspect of our lives that are not in obedience to the commands of Christ our Lord. Turn again to the faith of your fathers, who proved at the time of the Revolutionary War that they would stake their lives and fortunes to maintain their godliness. For they chose Jesus as their King instead of King George. Will history record that the righteous of this generation firstly cleansed themselves of their own sin, and then beyond that fought for godliness? Or, will history record that the “righteous” of this generation failed to cleansed itself of its own sins, and beyond that failed to stand up and call the sin of homosexuality, and other sins for the perversion that they are?

A Frank Discussion Concerning Murder and Abortion In America

Hey America, Lets talk about ethics, about justice, about judgment to come, about how murder has become common place, and about Yahweh's forgiven.

Having read this article's introduction you understand that an Alaskan woman was found guilty of abandoning her infant in a closet in her parent's home, causing the death of the infant. There it's dead body was found rotting some weeks afterward. A pretty gruesome thing to do eh? Yeah, sounds like something out of a horror story, or maybe you might say it sounds like something straight out of the pit of hell! A mother, abandoning the infant that came forth from her own body, and that was meant by the creator to be nourished at her breasts and cradled in her arms. This mother placed her child in a closet where it was left to misery and death, out of the immediate detection of anyone who could have acted to save it's life, before which she had wrapped it in a plastic bag to enclose the smell of the unavoidable decomposition that her child's body would experience.

A story like this prompts a sane mind to ask a few questions. First of all, how it is that a mother could care so little about her child's life? After that, this question comes to mind. How could she think she could ever get away with it, for sooner or later the remains of the child's body would have to be found? It could not be hidden forever in her parent's spare bedroom closet. Then this question comes to mind. Didn't she think that there would be some sort of punishment for such an action?” Although these are all basic questions that arise in such a story I am not sure we can answer them here and now, and besides that, these questions are offered by this article's author to cause us to focus on an evil much greater in scope than that of the woman against her child.

Ethics

Yes, the woman's actions constitute a cruel and unnatural act of murder. An action perpetrated by the every person that should be a young child's greatest friend and ally in the world. Perpetrated by the very person who was the instrument used by the creator to conceive the life of this child, and then after carrying it's developing person within her womb was enabled by God to deliver the child in the world. Should not this mother, above all people have pity, and a heart full of mercy toward the child of her womb? Yes, something in her heart was obviously very wrong, for it is from the heart that sin proceeds. Which sin includes murder.

America, mother's from among your populace have now “legally” murdered well over 40,000,000 (40 million) of their children by the empowerment of the United States Supreme Court's Roe vs. Wade decision in1973. The act of this woman from Alaska is undoubtedly barbaric in nature, but at least she did not seek to change the law of the land to accomplish her murder. Why did the mothers of these aborted children have no heart? Why did the medical personnel who snuffed their lives out have no heart? Why has our Supreme Court not opened their heart to aide and protect these innocents that have been butchered by the millions? Why as the American Civil Liberties Union not fought for the right of these individuals to live, but rather they (the ACLU) have fought to promote the destruction of these innocents.

It would appear that the ethics of this nation are far from pure, in fact they have every appearance of being barbaric. Much like the barbaric nature of Hitler's Germany.

Justice

The woman received a twenty year prison sentence. Some would say that this sentence is to lenient, other would say it is to harsh. What does the Bible say? Scripture answers this type of situation very clearly and in very simple terms, but admittedly we view our selves as far to “wise and humane” to execute the Biblically prescribed punishment for such sin. (Genesis 9:6KJV) Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God made he man. Pretty straight forward words. Words whose meaning any honest heart can understand, which boil down to capital punishment.

It would seem to me, as I think it would to any rational-honest thinker, that if on one hand we call murder as murder, (such as was done in the case of the woman in this story) then we should call it murder on the other hand. Which is then to say that the murderous deaths of all these innocents whose lives have been snuffed out by abortion by rights out to be accounted for. Now, that is no small element of accounting.

Judgment to come

Our American fathers by the wisdom of their faith (by the way America, in case you have not figured it out, those without faith reason altogether differently then those that live by faith) realized that without law there can be no liberty. For the lack of restraint of law in the actions of one violates the right of the pursuance of life-liberty-and the desire of happiness (fulfillment) in another's life. Therefore, from the beginning, the practice of this nation was meant to be that civil judgment be administered against all law breakers in a quick and expedient manner. So that the innocent among us could have a fair chance at a full life, not suffering by either oppression or death from another. It is very obvious to any thinking person that this judgment has in a very great degree departed from America. We have become a land where crime often has a very small price tag attached to it, and whose punishment can be a very long time in coming.

America, did you think you could hide the sin of abortion from the judge of the earth? It has appeared that you have thought you could hide your sin in the “closet” of the Supreme Court referring to it as “legal”. I say to you America, that you have been found out. The word is out. Your sin is completely apparent before not only God our creator, but before all honest men and women everywhere. Do not allow yourself to be fooled. Whatever a man sows he will later reap. If the powers that are in place in this present time are confused and polluted and will not execute judgment, then rest assured there in One in Heaven who will bring you to judgment. This judge stands completely impartial, and from a point of view that possesses all insight and wisdom, and will judge without mercy every action of every person. These next excepts from the Holy Scripture describe this judgment. (Romans 2:5-11) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.----Who will render to every man according to his deeds.---To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life;---But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,---Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and the Gentile:---For there is no respect of persons with God.

Murder has become common place

So tell me America, how can it be right to impose a 20 year prison sentence on this woman when at the same time it is “legal” and held as “prudent” and “ethical” by our very own president, very many of our civil leaders all across this land, very many of our religious leaders all across the country, and by the very highest court in our land to in no less a brutal manner murder children by the process of abortion? Our Supreme Court, which is meant to be comprised of men (and women now a days) of learning and justice, who are supposed to be, beyond all others, able to interpret the actions of our nation in order to maintain the rule of law in our land, how is it that they do not see the insanity of abortion for the murder it is? How can it be that before the point of birth we can murder our children, and even at the point of birth we can murder them, but we can not murder them after they have lived a few weeks time after being born, as is the case of this Alaskan woman whose story I have mentioned? Tell me America. Tell me, how can this be so? Tell me, what is the difference between the life of the child not yet born, or very newly born, then the life of the child who has lived as a birthed individual for a few weeks time? I must admit the difference can not be found in my perception of things. Apparently my mind has been proven to simple and naïve to be able to grasp what must be the complex and higher reasoning that is used by many to justify the actions that have now resulted in the death of 40 million plus individuals since the passing of Roe vs. Wade.

Yahweh's forgiveness

I have good news for some. It is meant for all people, but I fully realize that many will never take it to themselves. This news is that God is to be found in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. That means in simple terms that there is forgiveness of sin in Christ Jesus. That a holy God, who is absolutely apposed to any and all sin, and in who's presence sin can never abide, has in His great love and mercy provided a way for the forgiveness for any man who will answer the conviction of the Holy Spirit's dealing in his heart, and confess his sin before God, and turn from his sins, clinging by faith to Jesus as the payment for his sins. Any soul of man, no matter how vile he or she has been can be forgiven and find in Christ the Lord a total and complete clear conscience. Thus, resulting in joy and peace that is beyond expression. Amen! There is no one in all the universe other then Jesus who can do this for us! The remission of sin is offered in His name alone.

This forgiveness is for the woman who murdered her child. It is for the abortionists who have murdered the 40 million plus innocents since Roe vs. Wade. It is for the mothers who in their confusion and self-centered desires gave their children over to destruction. It is for our presidents, and our civil leaders, and for our religious leaders who in the blindness of their hearts have voted for the murder of these innocents. It is for you America, it is for all of us who have stood and watched it happen and not spoken a word or lifted a finger to stop it. This forgiveness is for all who have not even bothered to pray for the murder to cease and justice to be served. Yes, this forgiveness is for all who being convicted of their vile state will call upon the name of the Lord, confessing their wrong, and turning from their wickedness. This forgiveness is found in Jesus, and in no other.

Divorce-The Dissolving Of The Covenant Of Marriage- Five Lies In One Action

Divorce is the summation of as many as five lies embodied in one action. In a generation gone mad with every sort of humanistic ideal and practice divorce has become common place in America, so that nearly 7 out of ten first time marriages end in divorce. Why is this so, and what can we do about it?

Lie number one: Divorce is a slanderous testimony lived out by the actions of the unfaithful marriage partner (partners) in regards to the heavenly realities that the man and the woman in the institution of marriage were created by Yahweh to illustrate.

Lie number two: Divorce is an open lie before God (the All Present One) in that all marriage partners have vowed fidelity in both the presence of other people, and in the presence of God.

Lie number three: Divorce is a lie before the marriage partner in which you entered into the covenant of marriage with.

Lie number four: Divorce is a lie before the children who at the time of the wedding are yet unborn, but are by the very nature of all natural forces (that were put in place by God our creator) an expected result. Therefore, for people to enter marriage is by their action expressing a promise to the children that will come forth to them, that they (the children) will be provided that which is part and lot for children in a family. Which things include a home, food, shelter, and a loving-nurturing-stable environment as they grow to adulthood, and the possibility (if life continues) of parents who have remained together to one day be grandparents to their children.
Lie number five: Divorce is a lie before the human witnesses that were present at the wedding ceremony, when by the words of one's mouth, he/she, offered the promise of fidelity.

The very composition of the marriage covenant demands witnesses. There are two key bodies of witness necessary for any marriage to take place in a wise and just manner. They are God Himself, and at least two human witnesses. For the wisdom of the Scripture has ever taught that all the affairs of man must be settled by the minimum of two human witnesses. The reality of this truth is proven in that it is common any where in the world for a wedding to be a community events. For a man and a woman to simply just begin to live together and share the act of sex, which is meant by God to be the act of marriage, but without offering public verbal expressions of fidelity, is not marriage. I believe you'll find in most of these cases that the man and the woman are simply mutually using each other, which often continues only until one or both of them finds that the “grass appears greener” some where else. So reality is, that every divorce is by at least one of the marriage partners an expression of an outright lie to the body of witnesses that were present at their wedding ceremony when he-she-they publicly promised to live until death alone parted them.

America, the land where one of its earliest colonies ( the Pilgrims at Cape Cod) had devoted them selves to being a community of people (in both civil and religious manners) where Christ was King. Then the Pilgrims were followed by their cousins, the Puritans, from whom sprang forth a great part of our nation's godly beginnings. Followed then by the 13 colonies, who separated themselves from King George's England in that their heart's cry was that God's law alone could reign as supreme. From which sprang our national constitution and bill of rights. Where even as late as the year 1900 in the city of New York the divorce rate was only 1.5 %, how is it that divorce as become so common place. It has become the expected norm! Why has this become so? It is because we have become a people unfaithful to God. Divorce among us is an expression of our divorce from God above, and His law. We have become a people who are very willing to live a lie. Expressing by our actions things that are slanderous to the heavenly realities that we were created to picture with our lives. To by our actions live an outright lie before God in Heaven who witnesses the vows of faithfulness on every person's wedding day. We have become a people willing to lie to not only the marriage partner we covenanted to live with, but also to the children that are meant by God, and every natural course, to come forth from the marriage relationship, and who have every right by God's law and design to expect parents to provide for them a continuing stable and godly home life. Beyond these, divorce is an open lie to neighbors who by their participation as wedding guests became witnesses of the promise of faithfulness in marriage.

When one pulls up to a stop sign what is it that the sign is signaling to the person? The obvious communication is that the person needs to stop. But why? The sign says stop, but it does not say why to stop. This reasoning is supposed to be understood by a person if they are able to drive. The reason for the posted law (the stop sign) is for the driver to stop in order that he can look both ways and thus respond to the traffic that may or may not be present on the road that day. Thus the stop sign's actual value isn't so much in the person stopping, as it is in the driver slowing down sufficiently (stopping) so that the person can consider the traffic on the road way and act accordingly.

God's laws pertaining to Headship, or what many refer to as Divine Order, (of which wearing a head covering is a part of) are like this. The greatest importance of them is in the reasoning behind them. This reasoning goes beyond the most basic question asked by nearly all of us when first introduced to this concept, which is, “What's so important about a woman wearing a piece of cloth on her head, it's only a piece of cloth?” The next basic question asked by many when they begin to catch on that there might be true reasoning behind the practice is, “So what does the head covering represent, and if a woman adorns herself with a head covering, what affect will the faithful practice of wearing a head covering in public prayer and prophesying (the expression of the testimony of Jesus that is prompted by the Holy Spirit) have in the church and society around her?” To these two questions I will add a third, and I believe it is the most important question of the three, “So what does the obedience to this practice represent in regards to heavenly and eternal realities, the which all men and women were designed to reflect by their living?

Question Number One: Does the covering itself have any value?

There is no particular importance to the cloth, or veil, or whatever it is that a woman might wear as a head covering in itself. In itself it is only a piece of fabric. The importance is completely in what it represents. However, it would be my encouragement that the covering be an attractive article, for what good purpose would any woman have in adorning herself with something that is unattractive?

Question Number Two: In brief terms, what does the head covering represent in regards to how it affects the world around the one who wears it?

This is a very good question if asked from an honest heart. The head covering is simply a symbol of realities that exist in the world of men and women, and of realities that exist in the heavenlies. We will with this question seek to answer what the covering is to represent in regards to the world of men in which all of us are a part of. In the beginning Yahweh created all things. Obviously the human race was a part of that, and He made two styles of the human person: the male and the female. The first two were created as adult persons, and brought together as a husband and a wife. All others from that point have been created by the same God but through the process of couples coming together in the act of marriage, (sex) the conception of children, and then the birth of children. The reasoning for this is that Yahweh purposed to use His creation (the male and female, or husband and wife) to be an example of heavenly realities, and the reproduction of our own plays apart of the illustrating of heavenly realities that Yahweh wished to be pictured. For the man was created as a direct representation (image) of God Himself. The woman was created as an indirect representation of God. This is shown by the fact that Yahweh took a rib from the first man, whose name was Adam, and who then transformed the rib into the first female person. An adult woman whom Adam named Eve. So we have it from the first day of the existence of woman that she came forth from the man and was presented to the man, and was named by the man. Therefore it has been from the beginning that the man is firstly to be submitted to Yahweh Himself, for he came directly from Yahweh's hand. The woman is to be submitted directly to the man, for from a man she was created. (she was created from his rib, and reason tells all honest men that that which comes forth from another is lesser than that which it came forth from) Therefore, it has been the natural practice of men from the beginning and echoed by the very law of God itself that women are in general to be submitted to men in general, thus comes forth elder ship rule. And that, in particular terms a woman is to be submitted to her father while she is a virgin, (unmarried) and her husband after she is given in marriage.

Satan however, in his craftiness deceived Eve into entering into transgression by suggesting to her that if she would follow his advise (Satan's advise is the wisdom of this world) that they would be led into what would make them more “enlightened”, and be as “gods” in the world. Eve, thinking herself able to be a teacher and leader to Adam suggested to Adam that he follow her in what Satan had advised her to do. Adam allowed himself to be led by the woman. (even though he knew full well that what she had suggested was contrary to the command of the creator) Adam, who understood he was transgressing Yahweh's command was willing to do so because of his great desire for his wife.(this was the beginning of men following the lust of their flesh and the lust of their eyes, rather then their conscience before the Lord) Thus he plunged the whole human race into sin. So we see that from the very beginning of time Satan has tempted the woman to step out of her place as the follower and supporter of the male covering in her life to usurp his headship. This same struggle has existed in the human race from that time, right up to this present day. A woman, desiring to be in a place of headship seeks to usurp the place and the calling of the man, and the man wishing to not have to fulfill the responsibilities of headship is often very willing to surrender his headship to the woman. Thus corrupting God's order, and thus allowing great opportunity for Satan's devises to prosper, even as they did in the story of the first man and woman.

Therefore, it has been taught and practiced by godly and wise men from the beginning, even as it is communicated in the Scriptures in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 that beyond the covering of a woman's hair, a fabric covering ought to be worn by a woman as a symbol that represents her place as under the headship (authority) of a man, be that her father if she is a virgin, or her husband if she is a married woman. The Apostle Paul taught plainly that a woman's hair is a natural (God given) covering (symbol of her place), and ought not therefore to be cut like a man, but rather should remain long. This is her glory. This signifies that she is a woman, and as a woman under the authority, therefore the responsibility of a male person. But realizing the severity of the assault from Satan on the order of authority between the sexes the apostle urged and commanded that the practice of the wearing of a fabric covering also be fulfilled to complete the counter offensive against Satan's attack upon Divine Order.

So these things having been said, I can now say directly what value that the wearing of a head covering has for an honest heart. It has much value in that it speaks firstly to the one who is wearing the covering that she herself is pressing to be in her rightful place in the order of things. In a world filled with darkness and confusion, for a soul to be brought to the point where it will earnestly contend for the truth is very pleasing to God. Secondly, it says to all who see her that she is pressing, or at least making the show that she is pressing to be in her proper place in the order of things. This has very great value in that it serves to encourage those who take note of her actions to themselves fulfill their roles in respect to manhood and womanhood-to press into their proper place and calling. Here in is seen the exceeding gravity of the truth that each life has the potential to affect another life. The power of influence of one life to another, for either good or evil, can not be measured for its potential. It can be world changing in its affect upon others. Therefore, it behooves any and all of us to press into this truth, and into all truth at the Holy Spirit brings to us. For one day we will be judged for what we did with the “light” that He has brought to us. Whether we obeyed it, and put it on, and put it to work, or if we threw it to the side saying that Yahweh's truth is to much work, and has to great of a sacrifice associated with it.

The Third Major Question: What heavenly realities does the head covering speak of?

If one understands the reasoning used to answer question number two then this answer will come very easily. The creator made the man and the woman to represent heavenly things. The man was created to represent God Himself, the woman who was taken from the man became the very glory of the man, the “apple of his eye”, and she was created by God to be a representation of what is the very glory of His heart, the “apple of His eye”: the Church. Therefore, every law that God has every instituted pertaining to mankind has been crafted to direct the affairs of men and women so that in very action of their lives they do that which will (if they are obedient to God's laws) properly testify of heavenly realities. For the actions of the man must picture the person and actions of God Himself, particularly in Christ. The actions of the woman must picture the actions of the Church or the individual Believer. Any actions of either the man or the woman that do not accurately picture these heavenly realities that they were created to figure are slanderous, (un-truthful) testimonies of heavenly things, and are therefore displeasing to God. The more understanding that a person has concerning God's laws and yet refuses to obey them, the more that person's actions are hated of the Lord.

So what we find in modern America is that the humanistic thought patterns, that have sprung forth from man's wisdom (versus obedience to God's laws) have created a society that extremely discounts the practice of this wisdom. Therefore we have a very dysfunctional society that boasts a divorce rate of near 70% for first time marriages, that has “legally” murdered over 40 million babies, (abortion) that boasts of 1,000,000 pornography sites on the Internet, whose youth boast an 8 for 10 ratio of teen aged fornication. (what is called teen sex), where 50% of all our youth refuse to marry, but “cohabit ate”, etc, etc. These facts reflect that our generation has divorced the truth of God, and in so doing left the door wide open for Satan to have his way. It is that simple. It is no more complicated then that. Yes, we might boast that we are Christians, but Jesus said that “a tree will be known by its fruits”. And in the end, the real values of a person are known by what that person does or allows.

So Dear One, Dear godly woman, will you find the courage of faith to follow God and adorn yourself with a head covering (according to the mandate set forth in 1 Corinthians chapter 11) and make the statement that you will press to align your life with the reality of God's laws pertaining to Divine Order? You Brother, who claims the faith of Jesus Christ, will you show the courage of faith to rule your household, and teach, admonish, lead, and insist on the truth of God being fleshed out in regards to your life and family? This will cost you Brother. There is no doubt about it. To implement the truth of God in a pagan nation such as what America has become will not be without price. Do you love Him enough to pay this price?

The word America is repent! Turn to God from the wisdom of men. Flush the worthless and confused preachers and educators that teach for doctrine the wisdom of men. (man's misguided intelligence that refuses to acknowledge Yahweh and His laws) He made man as the highest of all his creation, to live in the honor of knowing Him and His ways, thus by their lifestyle reflecting His truth in the world. God's law that commands that the sexes must adorn themselves differently the one from the other is like this. The greatest importance of it is in the reasoning behind it, this reasoning goes beyond the immediate sphere of men's lives. Yahweh's laws that related to the adornment of the sexes have not only an earthly need for fulfillment, meaning they are needed to properly direct the affairs of man on the earth for his immediate good and protection, but also they represent heavenly and eternal realities at the same time. The following is an explanation of the heavenly realities that are reflected in clothing, explaining why Yahweh considers it an abomination for men and women to dress alike.

Yahweh's law that states that the sexes be adorned distinctively different, the one from the other, is found stated in Deuteronomy 22:5. Here it says that any man who dresses like a woman, or any woman who dresses like a man is an abomination to the Lord. Though ignorance and unbelief I was myself blind to this until I was 42 years of age. That means I lived as a Christian, with an open godly testimony for 28 years before God could bring me into the light of this understanding. The disruption of Divine Order, (the order of authority: God-Christ-Man-Woman) which is sponsored by the spirit of feminism is extremely prevalent in the world and I might add in the church. Wanting to corrupt God's truth Satan has sown much confusion into the world, teaching men that in reference to headship the woman is equal to the man, thus denying and corrupting God's order. Again we need to remember that God created the human person illustrative of both Himself and the chief object of His love: the church or individual Believer. The man represents God Himself, (Christ) the woman is to illustrate the Church or individual Believer. Therefore, when a woman dresses like a man she is saying by this practice that she is the same as, or equal to a man, and in that she is a representation of a Believer the act of her dressing as a man is saying that a Believer is the same as, or equal to the Lord. For a man to dress as a woman is to give the illustration that God has surrendered His headship over men so that He is the same as man. These testimonies are slanderous, and are therefore detestable to God. Therefore cross dressing, or the mixing of adornment is slanderous to God and therefore an abomination. For remember that clothes have three basic purposes:

To protect from the elements.

To protect modesty, for all human persons are sexually oriented, therefore the covering of the body is of absolute necessity.

Clothes are illustrative. They by their nature are designed to give illustration pertaining to the one that wears them. Even as a police officer is known by his uniform, or a soldier by his, or a white color worker by his. In like manner a woman's adornment must signal that she is NOT a male, but female.

So what we find in modern America is that we have created almost an entire culture that cross dresses continually, and in our ignorance of God's ways we think little or nothing of it. But I say to you that this practice has everything to do with the spirit of feminism that prevails in this society, which has every thing to do with the nearly 70 % divorce rate for first time marriages, the fact that nearly 50% of all young couple refuse to marriage, but “cohabitate”, (which is living with the “back door” of the relationship open so that either can leave the relationship with relative ease when they may want to) that our Internet boasts nearly 1,000.000 pornography sites, that we have “legally” murder over 40 million unborn children, (abortion) These facts reflect that America has accepted “wisdom” that is not wisdom at all, but perversion of thought made to look good by the “wolves in sheep's clothing” that influence our people. Who are the “wolves in sheep's clothing” that influence our people? They are the ministers and educators, and politicians, and all others who guide and teach our people, but refuse to acknowledge the laws of Yahweh and turn and do righteousness, and teach others to live in obedience to God's laws.

Cross dressing, that of dressing a woman as a man, or in any other pattern of adornment that it might be found is sin. It is a detestable act in Yahweh's sight.

Repent America! Turn from your own wisdom and do it God's way, and He will lift you up. Turn from every voice of man that stands in rebellion to Yahweh's laws.

Undoubtedly the fulfillment of this admonition, particularly from an honest and understanding heart will have great affect upon the relationships that the obedient soul is apart of, (particularly the marriage relationship) However, Yahweh's laws stipulating that a woman must wear her hair long has not only an earthly need for fulfillment. Meaning that obedience to this directive will go hand in hand with the maintaining of a submissive and reverent heart that is needed in a woman to enable her to conduct herself wisely toward all the forms of headship that are at play in her life, but specially in regards to her most immediate head. Which is her father if she is unmarried, or her husband if she is married. But at the same time for a woman to wear long hair represents heavenly and eternal realities which the godly woman will want to reflect in her life. The following is an explanation of the heavenly realities that are reflected by the neglect or abandonment of the woman wearing long hair. Therein, defining the reason for Yahweh's greatest disappointment when a woman, either through ignorance or rebellion of this truth, wears her hair short as a man would. For to violate Yahweh's laws pertaining to the wearing of longer hair, versus short hair (as a man would) is to in action directly slander the heavenly realities that the faithful woman was created by God to picture.

The Heavenly Picture Of Headship, and Its Working Among Men, and How The Wearing Of Long Hair Has A Part In This

To understand the Apostle Paul's admonition stating that a woman's hair is to be long, and that her long hair is a glory to her one must go back to the beginning of the creation of all things. The Mighty One created all the heavens and the earth, and everything contained in them. Man (mankind) was the crowning item of that creation, the which He made according to His own image. The first male person's name was Adam. He was firstly and directly made in Yahweh's image. The first female person's name was Eve. She was created from a rib that Yahweh had taken from Adam, after having caused him to fall into a deep sleep. Having been made from Adam's rib, the woman was apart of the man, thus it can be said that she came forth from the man, therefore she shared the image of God, but only through the man from which she was taken. So Adam was directly made in the image of God, the woman was made by the same creator, but indirectly shares the image of God, having been taken from the man. Therefore she has been from that time forward the very glory of the man, and the object of his affection. Furthermore, the man was created to be a direct reflection or illustration of God Himself, the woman was created to be an expression or illustration of the Church, or the individual Believer. Yahweh, the great creator, in His genius and unlimited power designed and constructed the two human persons to be living mortal expressions of these eternal and heavenly realities. His purpose being that in every affair of their lives they would, if walking in obedience to the Holy Spirit, bring forth a constant and accurate testimony of great, and eternal things that exist in the heavenlies.

Although created to illustrate heavenly realities, the man the woman are the chief of God's creation in this present natural world. Therefore, the wisdom that is contained in the commandments of God pertaining to their behavior is of vital importance to properly regulate their behavior, and in so doing bring forth godliness with it's many rewards in the present here and now. The bottom line issue of which we speak is that of the order of authority and responsibility in regards to the man and the woman. The man who was made as a direct illustration of God was created by God to be head over the woman. This brings forth the picture of God being head over the Church. The woman is to be under his authority (her father or husband) and her submission is to picture the submission that the individual Believer and the Church have to God (Christ). Authority and responsibility exist together in the equation of headship. You man say that they are like right and left hand. They exist together and you can not properly have one without the other. They are the two basic elements of headship. They belong chiefly to the man, even as in regards to heavenly issues they belong chiefly to the Lord. Now, the woman (as either wife or daughter of the one who is her natural head) will share this authority, and the corresponding responsibility that goes with it, but it firstly belongs to him. Even as the individual believer and the Church share in the authority and the responsibility of what is the Lord's. However, it must be noted that the sharing of this authority and responsibility is on the terms of the one in headship. It is not according to the terms of the one who was created to be in submission.

The issues of headship, both in respect to authority and responsibility are vital and basic to the peaceful and prosperous relationship between man and woman. They are vital to marriage, they are vital to family life. Therefore, since the marriage and family are such basic institutions in society, you can easy say that the issue of headship is vital and basic to all society. It has been the neglect and the corruption of the practice of this truth that has brought forth so very much vice, and the destruction of lives that go with these vices in modern America. It is obvious that our fathers understood and were more obedient to these truths then what our regent generations have been. Therefore, America boasts a divorce rate of nearly 70% for first time marriages, having “legally” murdered over 40 million babies, (abortion), possesses an Internet that offers 1,000,000 pornography sites, has an 80% teen sex rate (out side of marriage I might add), boasts a 50% rate of all couples refusing to marry, but “cohabitate”, which really means for most of them that the relationship is only good until one or the other discovers that the “grass is greener on the other side of the fence”. So, for any honest and thoughtful heart, the need among men to maintain the practice of headship it is nothing short of obvious. For to neglect it is to bring forth every sort of vice, and eventually even the very demise of our society.

The man, who was created to illustrate God (Christ) can not deny or abandon this calling. For to do so is to give the picture that Yahweh, the Great One, will abandon His headship over us. That He will forsake both His authority over us and His responsibility to us. I fully realize that the humanistic mind set wishes that He would do this, but I assure you He will never surrender His headship to anyone, at any time, or for any reason. He is alone God Almighty. He is alone head over all things. He shares the elements of that headship, both its authority and responsibility with both individual Believers and the Church, but only according to His will. He alone is LORD. So when the man who was created as a living mortal illustration of Yahweh surrenders or neglects his headship over the woman and the children she has brought forth to him, he is living a slanderous testimony pertaining to God. If, and when the woman rebells against her husband seeking to usurp his headship then she is living out the picture that says the Christian Believer, or the Church at large, has the right to act independently of the Lord, that the Church has the right to conduct her own affairs independent of God's will. This also is a slanderous testimony. Whether from the side of the man who through neglect or rebellion lives a life that testifies incorrectly of the heavenly realities he was created to picture, or from the side of the woman who through neglect or rebellion lives a life that incorrectly testifies of the heavenly realities that she was created to illustrate. Both are hated of Yahweh. For they tell a lie concerning Him. The testimonies of the lives who live in neglect, and, or rebellion to God's laws are slanderous toward Him and His purpose in the Church.

In conclusion, the reason for the woman to be adorned with long hair is that her hair is purposed of God to act as a natural symbol of her being under the headship of another. It is called a covering. It is a covering that is to be continually, night and day with the woman, reminding her that she was purposely created different from the man, and with the obedience of her life she is to fulfill a very different calling then the man, and to reflect different heavenly realities then what the man is to testify with his life. When a woman gives her heart to receive the truth and depth of this understanding this practice becomes her very glory. It is a glorious thing for a soul, in this case we are speaking chiefly about the woman, to understand and live out the truth of what her life was designed to be. Therefore her hair becomes her glory. For it is a continuing visible symbol to first herself, and then to others, that she is a woman and created by God to fulfill every aspect of how a woman is to testify of heavenly realities. The man is commanded to groom himself in short hair in that he was created firstly in the image of God and is to have no head between himself and the Lord . Therefore, he is to wear short hair, for he is to carry the symbol in his hair (or lack thereof) that he has no earthly head. This is not to say that in regards to the affairs of life the man does not need to answer to earthly authorities, whether they be civil or religious, or even commercial in nature (such as an employer), but that he is the direct head over all the affairs of His personal life, and of all things that belongs to him in this life. Therefore, he is not to wear a symbol of a covering. He was made with this sovereignty. This also pictures God.

The practice of men wearing long hair, and especially of women wearing short hair is very common in America. I would say this almost without fail speaks of either ignorance or rebellion in respect to God's word on the part of the man or woman who does this. Now please do not mistake this statement to say that all women wearing long hair live after a godly manner, and that they practice submission of heart and action before the God given headship in their lives. For long hair is worn by many women only as a part of their femininity, but without recognizing or using that femininity to honor God, or their calling in God. For a woman to glory in the beauty of her femininity without using it to honor God is idolatry.

Repent America! Do not follow the wisdom of men. If they are unwilling to repent, then flush the worthless and confused preachers and educators that teach for doctrine the wisdom of men. (man's misguided intelligence that refuses to acknowledge Yahweh and His laws) God made mankind as the highest of all his creation, to live in the honor of knowing Him and His ways, thus by their lifestyle reflecting His truth in the world, but not to wallow in the mire of the immorality that springs forth from the supposed wisdom of men. This is a lie, it is confusion, and according to the degree that such a thought pattern is accepted by a believer is the degree of evil affect that it produces in that person's life.

First, lets establish that in the same manner that Yahweh is Love, He is also Law. We know that John, an apostle of the first century Church coined the phrase which is found in the Scripture: “God is Love”. (1 John 4:16) From this love springs the mercy and grace that supplies salvation to all who believe, and in that belief call upon the name of Jesus whom God has appointed the Savior of the world. But just as a coin has two faces and neither of its faces are any more real or lasting then the other you many say that the character of God is not only love, but also law.

What is the character of law? It is that aspect of Yahweh that is just, and judges sin. It is that aspect of Him that is holy, that is completely separate from sin and sinner. It is that part of Him that says in a completely compromising way, “This is the way walk in it”....or “Thus saith the Lord”, and then the commandment is given. It is the part of Him that says, “Thou shalt, and thou shalt not”, and every disobedience to these commands demanding punishment. For He is holy, and an unclean thing can not abide in His presence. He is truth as is indicated by the words of Jesus in John 8:14, “...I am the way the truth and the life....”,and when connected with the wisdom of the psalmist one finds that God's law is referred to as truth. (Ps. 119:142 NKJV) Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth. (Ps. 119:151NKJV) You are near oh Lord, and all Your commandments are truth. So the conclusion is simple. To put God's law on the self and consider it void, or to consider it with out purpose is to put God Himself on a shelf and consider Him void and without purpose.

Some take the Apostle's Paul's remark in the Colossians 2:13-14 as proof, or indication that Christ did away with the Law at the Cross. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us, and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. (NKJV) I say to you that it is impossible for Christ to have done away with the law, “nailing it to the tree”. For to do that He would have had to have taken Yahweh Himself and nailed Him to the cross for the interpretation of this scripture to be that God's law was taken away and nailed to the cross. I suggest, what was nailed to the cross was our offenses, or violations of God's laws, (our sin) not the Law itself. Further, we see in Romans 3:31 that Paul communicates openly that the purpose of the Christian faith is not to make the law of God void, but to establish it. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary we establish the law. (NKJV)

There you have it! In clear and certain terms the proof that God's law is not void, but is in place, and that God Himself is law. So what did the Apostle Paul mean when he said that we are not under the law but under grace? I believe he meant that the grace of God which is found in Christ, serves as a filter that stands between a holy God, (whose absolute righteousness demands complete and unmerciful judgment of sin), and all sinners. This grace is a loving God's way of dealing with a very imperfect creation. Allowing us time and empowerment to respond to Him and put on Christ, which means that those who are in Christ choose to learn His ways and flesh them out. Thus righteousness is produced in the actions of our lives. This process is summed up in this equation which is seen in John 1:17, For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (NKJV) Law + grace = truth in the believer's life. Truth being the right and lawful expression of life that is meant by God for the believer to live. The lifestyle that reflects the person of the Lord Jesus, who is the embodiment of law, and grace,(and its accompanying mercy) and truth.

Having said these things I wish now to list a set of commandments and speak of the meaning of these commandments. For they have meaning behind them. There is a “why” behind each. For a wise God never gives a commandment without a reason. Like unto a parent who will commanded his child to either do, or not do any given thing. The parent may or may not give an explanation as to the reasoning behind the commandment, but there is one there. In like manner the eternal and wise Creator has reason behind all of His law. But to start off, lets first consider an extremely common posting of law that is found in the world. That of a stop sign.

When one pulls up to a stop sign what is it that is being communicated to the person? Undoubtedly the obvious communication is that the person must stop. But why? Nothing is said on the sign as to why the person must stop. This is taken as a thing that is understood by the driver, or if the driver is unable to understand the reasoning behind the command to stop then that driver is not supposed to be driving. The reason for the command is for the driver to stop in order that he can look both ways and thus respond to the traffic that may or may not be present on the road that day. Thus the actual commandment only has value because it allows for the more important reasoning behind it, which is to slow down sufficiently to consider the traffic on the road way, and then act accordingly.

God's laws are like this. The value of them is in the reasoning behind them, and this reasoning goes beyond the immediate sphere of men. Each of these laws have not only an earthly need for fulfillment, meaning they are needed to properly direct the affairs of man on the earth for his immediate good and protection, but also they represent heavenly and eternal realities at the same time. The following are a listing of various commandments of God and brief explanation of the heavenly realities that they reflect. Therein, offering the most extreme reason for obedience to them. For to violate them is to directly slander, or stand in rebellion toward the One who designed the commandments, to not only conduct the actions of men's lives for their immediate good, but to bring forth the true testimony of Heavenly and eternal realities.

Divorce:

In that Yahweh created the man as a living mortal illustration of Himself, and the woman as a living mortal illustration of the Church, and caused that they would come together in marriage, the act of divorce has far greater ramifications then the effects of the dissolutionment of the marriage and family, as extremely horrible as that it. For divorce is a horrendous thing, which often brings extreme damage and pain to the family members involved. Yet the slanderous testimony of heavenly things that is brought forth is the chief reason divorce is hated of God. Marriage was created by God to represent His relationship to the believer. (1 Cor. 6:17) When one comes to the salvation of Jesus, God becomes the husband of their spirit. In that the man and the woman were created to illustrate in their person, both God and the Church, the act of unlawful divorce gives the signal that God will, or may, divorce believers, or that the believer is permitted to divorce the Lord. Our God is completely faithful and He will never divorce any soul of man until that soul has been proven unfaithful to him and will not turn from that unfaithfulness, (in other words such a one has thrown away his faith) and any soul of man that divorces the Lord will find themselves without a savior, and henceforth be destined to the Lake of Fire.

Adultery:

Again, the Creator designed and created mankind, both male and female, both man and woman to illustrate heavenly realities. The relationship of marriage was designed and the laws pertaining to it are to insure that the obedient will be able to live the fullest, happiest, and safest life possible while in this present life. However, more importantly these same laws are designed so that through obedience to them the full and proper testimony of Heavenly realties are brought forth. When the man, who is a living mortal illustration of God commits adultery with a woman, who is the living illustration of the Church or individual believer, this act is giving the picture that God will be untrue to the relationship of trust and commitment to a soul of man who has become a marriage partner (for again, every soul of man that experiences the salvation of Jesus receives the Lord as the husband of their spirit) The woman who commits adultery by her actions gives the picture of a believer leaving the Lord to enact intimacy with another god. This is idolatry. These pictures are completely untrue. They are slanderous testimonies of the Lord and His dealings with a redeemed soul, and the proper dealing of a redeemed soul with the Savior.

Fornication:

This act is similar to that of adultery. When a man and a woman fornicate it means that they participate in the act of marriage without entering into the covenant of marriage. Thus they by their action are testifying (again, in that they were created as representations of both the Lord and the believer) that God and a soul of man will enjoy the intimacy of marriage without first entering a covenant relationship. In other words, that an unconverted soul who has not experienced the regeneration of the Holy spirit, who is not born again can share intimacy with the Lord. This is an impossibility! Such action is a lie against the truth! The Holy Spirit will not enter and abide with any soul of of man and share communion with that person until that soul has been brought under the blood of Christ and has experienced regeneration. God will not dwell in an unholy place. So the heavenly illustration that fornication brings forth is that of God being married to (sharing intimacy with) a soul of man who is not His, and the woman's part illustrates a soul of man sharing intimacy with God without entering a covenant relationship, without being born again. These pictures are impossible and are altogether slanderous to the truth.

Child Rebellion:

Going beyond marriage is the obvious eventuality of parenthood. For just as the intimacy of the Lord to the Church will bring forth new believers, so it is that the intimacy of marriage, (the act of marriage) will bring forth children. So the relationship, and the laws that govern the relationship between parents and children are illustrative of the relationship that the Heavenly Father has to His own. The Father of every soul made perfect is God Himself, the mother is the Church. The seed of God (His word) sown into the Church (by means of evangelism of the unconverted) brings forth new children to God. When a child acts in disobedience or rebellion to his or her parents it is giving the picture of a child of God acting in disobedience and rebellion to the Lord Himself, and to the Church. Therefore any act or spirit of disobedience of a child to his parent is slanderous to the greater truth that marriage and family are to illustrate in the world. This is why in the Law a rebellious child who will not turn from his rebellion is commanded to be brought forth and stoned to death. For such rebellion can contaminate a society with its poison, and beyond that it is absolute slanderous picture of what the true relationship of Believer to the Lord is to be.

Sabbath Breaking:

The keeping of the Sabbath through much confusion and undoubtedly certain rebellion is by many in this generation neglected. This law was designed by God to cause the seventh day to represent Heavenly and eternal things. The Sabbath day is a banner if you will, that is to be “waved” every seventh day that testifies that God is both the creator and the redeemer of men. And if He is the creator of men, then He is henceforth the master of men. And if He is the redeemer of men, then it is in His name alone that salvation can be preached. The name of Jesus. So to not practice the Sabbath is to give the testimony that you do not believe that Yahweh is the Creator and the redeemer of men. This testimony is a lie. It is a slanderous testimony concerning God our Creator.

Cross Dressing:

The law of God commands that the sexes be adorned distinctively different, the one from the other. This law is found in Deuteronomy 22:5. It is said in this same reading that any man who dresses like a woman, or any woman who dresses like a man is an abomination to the Lord. I myself in blindness and unbelief lived in violation of this commandment until I was 42 years of age. That means I was a Christian with an active testimony for 28 years before the Holy One brought me to the place where I could see His law and be convicted of my sin. The spirit of what is called feminism, which is the disruption or deterioration of Divine Order, (the order of authority:God-Christ-Man-woman) is extremely prevalent in the world and I might add in the church. Satan wishing to corrupt the truth of God has sown much confusion into the world, teaching men that in reference to headship the woman is equal to the man, thus denying and corrupting God's order. Again remember that the Creator created the human person illustrative of both Himself and His the chief object of His love: the church or individual Believer. The man represents God Himself, the woman represents the Church or individual Believer. Therefore when a woman dresses like a man she is saying by her practice that she is the same as, or equal to a man, which is saying that a believer is the same as, or equal to the Lord. This testimony is slanderous and therefore detestable to God. Therefore cross dressing, or the mixing of adornment is slanderous to God, and therefore an abomination. For remember that clothes have three basic purposes: 1--To protect from the elements. 2--To protect modesty, for all human persons are sexually oriented, therefore the covering of the body is of absolute necessity. 3—Clothes are illustrative. They by their nature are designed to give illustration pertaining to the one that wears them. Even as a police office is known by his uniform, or a soldier by his, or a white color worker by his. In like manner a woman's adornment much signal that she is NOT a male, but female.

Feminism or The Disruption Of Divine Order:

The laws of God that demand the keeping of Divine Order have already been mentioned, but the extreme necessity of the understanding and the obedience to these bears out that they have their own listing and discussion. God's law demands that authority be exercised in this order: God-Christ-Man-Woman. Not only is this the only order that works among men and that can bring forth life and happiness, but it is the only order that reflects Heavenly realities properly. God is the creator and henceforth the master of all things. He has chosen the man Christ Jesus, who is His physical son to be heir over all things, hence Christ is second in the line of authority. Yahweh made the male person who grows to manhood to be the first representation of Himself, man was made in God's image, henceforth, man is next in authority. The woman was created from the rib of the man and henceforth made after the image of the man, and in that process became the very glory of the man, and henceforth is after the man in reference to authority. These things are of God, and to reverse the order of authority between the man and the woman is not only to disrupt life among men on this earth but it is also to bring forth a slanderous testimony of Heavenly and eternal realities. The which action will come under very severe judgment from Yahweh who created our lives to testify of His truth.

The word America is repent! For you have become a nation steeped in the wisdom of men, but very confused and negligent in regards to God's laws. Flush the worthless and confused preachers and educators that teach for doctrine the wisdom (man's misguided intelligence that refuses to acknowledge Yahweh and His laws) of men. Undoubtedly there is extreme importance in the immediate sphere of men's lives for God's laws pertaining to marriage to be fulfilled, for this allows for stable and happy lives for all involved, and the extension of God's kingdom on earth. Yahweh's laws related to marriage, (which includes sex and childbirth) not only have an earthly need for fulfillment, meaning they are needed to properly direct the affairs of man on the earth for his immediate good and protection, but also at the same time they represent heavenly and eternal realities. The following is an explanation of the heavenly realities that are reflected by the use of birth control, therein, defining the cause for the most extreme reason for Yahweh's disappointment in disobedience. For to violate Yahweh's laws pertaining to any aspect of marriage is to slander the heavenly realities that the faithful marriage was created by God to picture.

Birth control-Its Obvious Natural Consequences and The Heavenly Picture It Represents

In that Yahweh created the man as a living mortal illustration of Himself, and the woman as a living mortal illustration of the Church, and caused that they would come together in marriage, and in the confines of marriage reproduce themselves, the practice of birth control has far greater ramifications then the immediate affect of having fewer children. However, before we consider in any depth the heavenly realities that are pictured in the use of birth control lets first briefly consider the obvious natural immediate affect: having fewer children. Considering that Yahweh commanded the married couple to “be fruitful and multiply in the earth”, does the use of birth control agreeably fit into that commandment? Beyond that, in that Yahweh has purposed that in part His kingdom be extended by the birth of children who are to be raised in the fear of God, ( a form of evangelism) can the believing couple in good conscious toward this basic calling and objective of God, purposely limit or eliminate children being born to themselves? I will not offer an answer to these questions, but leave them to be answered according to the reader's own faith before God.

In regards to the heavenly picture that may be seen in the use of birth control I have these things to say. Mankind is the highest of all the creation of God and was made to reflect in their persons (both the male and the female) great and eternal heavenly realities. The man was created to be a reflection of God Himself, the woman a reflection of the individual Believer, or the corporate Church. Therefore, for those that purpose in their heart to be faithful this is to be held in great consideration. For the faithful man and woman desires in their actions to fulfill the complete and proper testimony of godliness that they were designed to fulfill.

The seed of man is an illustration of the seed of God, which is His word. (1 Peter 1:23) Even as the new Christian believer is conceived by the seed of God, (His word) and brought forth as a new babe in Christ, the seed of man sown into the woman plays its part in the conception of all human life. The obvious conclusion to this is that since the seed of man represents the seed of God, that the destruction of the seed of man illustrates the destruction, or negation of the seed of God. This is a picture that I want nothing to do with. I ask you, does Yahweh by the Holy Spirit through the Church sow His word into the world only to then turn around and destroy it? I think not. In like manner, neither then, should the man sow the seed of his body into the woman and then destroy it. Even as the word of God is left in the care of God to be brought forth to its rightful fulfillment, the seed of man ought to be, after which it is sown into the body of the wife, left into the hands of God to be brought to whatever fulfillment He purposes. Birth control by the destruction of the seed of man signifies the destruction of the seed of God. Birth control by the destruction of the seed of the woman brings forth the heavenly picture of destroying the ability of a person to receive God's word. Both pictures are slanderous of the truth, and ought not to be brought forth.

Beyond these pictures, many people view birth control as being the very spirit of abortion. For as the practice of abortion eliminates the bringing forth of children through the death of the child, the use of birth control eliminates the bringing forth of children through the destruction of the seed of the man, or of the woman, thus eliminating children. And, as it has already been stated, it is questionable that the practice of birth control works to bring forth a fulfillment of the commandment of God stated through His servant Noah, (Genesis 9:7 KJV) “And You, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.” And beyond these things, any form of contraceptive that destroys the seed of the man or the woman certainly brings forth a corrupt illustration of its heavenly counterpart: the word of God, and the need of the human heart to receive God's word.

So what we find in modern America is that the humanistic thought patterns that have sprung forth from man's wisdom, (versus obedience to God's laws) have created a generation that do not understand or value the truths of God that pertain to the man and the woman being the highest of God's creation. And as such are meant by Yahweh to be living mortal illustrations in all aspects of their lives of the eternal God and His purposes in the Church. This fact reflects that our generation has divorced God. It is that simple. It is no more complicated then that. Yes, we might boast that we are Christians, and that we are faithful, but Jesus said that “a tree will be known by its fruits”. And in the end, the real values of a person are known by what that person does or allows.

The humanistic thought processes that have been working in America have filled this nation with fornication. It has become about as common as bread on the grocery shelf. Television is filled with the expression of it. It is referred to as casual sex, free love, teen sex, and, the right of the individual to use their body as they might want to, but bottom line it is in Yahweh's definition: fornication. This fact reflects that our generation is sinful toward God. It is that simple. It is no more complicated then that. Yes, we might boast that we are Christians, but Jesus said that “a tree will be known by its fruits”. So if we boast the name of Jesus we ought to flee this sin, and not to practice it. For if we live according to the way of the world, we will perish with the world. For the world and its ways, and its god, (Satan) will be destroyed.

So I say to you reading this article, if the Holy Spirit is convicting you of sin then respond to His voice and save your life by fulling this Scripture. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Acts Of Wisdom On A Woman's Part That Promote Chivalry From A Man

The author offers an abbreviated explanation on how a woman can provoke chivalry from men by the practice of five points of wisdom on her part. This being possible without even a hint of immodesty, or impropriety.

Ladies, do you like the thought of your femininity being recognized by the male of society to the end that chivalry will be practiced toward yourself? Do you treasure the thought that men would greet you in a gentle, respectful and pure manner? How about a door being held open for you as you pass though it? A heavy object carried for you? Your car started for you on a cold winter's day? All of these and more, and with not even a hint of the man wanting to “hit on you” for favors that should not be asked for. This is possible, and I'll give you a few pointers as to how to bring it to pass in your life.

Realize that the Creator made the man and the woman for two entirely different purposes. The man was created to be a natural living illustration of God Himself. The woman was created to be a natural living illustration of the One that is the object of God's heart, the Church. Study what this means and it will lead to to this basic rule of thumb. Maximize your womanhood in all points and do nothing to minimize any man's manhood, and especially your husband's.

Give yourself to dressing in a manner that is entirely and distinctfully different then what a man would dress. In other words wear a dress at all times. Not only for the sake of conscience before God because His law commands this, but because it will promote femininity within yourself that you will glory in, and the expression of this will have very positive affects on men. The inborn masculinity of a man instinctively holds every expression of femininity in value.

Do not cut your hair short, but rather allow it to be long. Allow it to be as the Bible describes, a glory to you. Let it be as a crown of your womanhood, the which the Creator made it to be. In the maximizing of your femininity you will gain the attention and the honor of men.

Conduct yourself with a quiet spirit. No, I'm not saying for a moment that such a spirit is unintelligent, and weak in any sense. But quietness of spirit is a glory for either man or woman. The man shows this chiefly before God and the authority figures in his life. The woman shows it in general to all men, but especially before her husband or father. It is very hard to bully a spirit that just won't fight back...rather the dominating male ego will seek to raise you up and hold you in value if you will behave quietly toward it.>/li>
Never forget, and always operate according to the wisdom that the way to gain victory with a man, and especially your man, is the way of surrender. Even as the way for a Christian to gain what he wishes from Christ our Lord is the way of surrender, in like manner it is with the woman to the man. God made man to rule over all things, and he made the woman to help him do this. So, if you'll treat him right you will find he will spend his energy to fight for you, and to grant you what he can of life. But if you counter him then he will be obliged to fight back to defend his ego. That Sweetheart, is the way it is with any man who has any degree of backbone in him.

Darling woman, do these five points of wisdom and you'll find the whole male gender will view you and treat you in a more respectful, tender, patient, gracious, and serving manner. I guarantee it.

Chivalry-- Elements of Wisdom On A Woman's Part That Will Provoke Male Courtesy

Chivalry: defined by the dictionary as courtesy shown toward women. A practice that many would say is less and less common in American society. I believe this is entirely true, henceforth I offer this article in the hope that at least some who truly desire understand will be spoken to by the insights of this article. For a goodly number of years, from the depths of my heart I have prayed to God our savior petitioning Him for an out pouring of the Holy Spirit, with one of the manifestations of His presence being that there will be a noted, yes, even a fantastically noticed turning of our America people to what the Bible refers to as the wisdom of the wise. What is the wisdom of the wise? Simply, the wisdom to conduct one's self in accordance with God's commandments. Only those that are exercised in this wisdom can know the good of it. An example of the proof of this wisdom is that women who practice it are shown chivalry. That is the reason for the statement of Jesus: Wisdom is justified by her children. (Matthew 11:19) Obedience to God's wisdom brings positive results.

Before I begin into the meat of this message I will endeavor to first draw a picture so that you, the reader, can be aided to better comprehend the workings of God. God is infinitely bigger and higher then what we are. Even the Apostle Paul with the extreme revelations given to him described the Lord in Romans 11:33 in this manner: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been His counselor? Or who hath first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen Yahweh, the great Eternal One sits in heaven, we as men are on earth. Perhaps we could be described before Him as what an insect is before us. Very small, yet possessing life and certain understanding. Oh yes, men are exceedingly greater then insects, but before God in heaven we are very very small, very very weak, and very very foolish. Therefore, it is only by the obedience of His commandments that we can be brought by the Holy Spirit into His wisdom, and realize the benefits of His salvation. Now, please listen very carefully. In regards to His laws, we are very much like little children before their parents who do not understand the need to obey their parents. Children do not understand the depth of reasoning that a parent has when a parent tells them to do, or not to do, any certain thing. It is upon obedience to God's laws that our understanding is open to perceive the reasoning for the commandment, the particular benefits of obedience.

Varied Commandments of God and Reasoning Behind Them

The chief reason for the lack of chivalry in America today is the lack of the practice of godly manhood, and womanhood, and the whole reason for the lack of godly man and womanhood in America today is ignorance and rejection of God's commandments, particularly in respect to the issues of headship that exists in the man-woman relationship. In order for chivalry to work among men and women we must learn to maximize manhood, and maximized womanhood, but this is only possible by obedience to the Holy Scriptures, for the carnal reasoning of man can not produce godly man and womanhood.

The Scripture gives command for the headship of man over woman, and in particular terms this means husband over wife, father over daughter. In general terms it means that in all government, whether civil or religious is to be comprise of men who rule. Commandments pertaining to this issue are found throughout the Scriptures in one form or another, but please allow me to submit a few very pointed examples: Genesis 3:16, Duet. 22:5, 1 Cori. 11: 1-16, 1 Cor. 14:33-36, 1 Tim. 2: 8-15, 1 Peter 3:1-7. Most of these Scriptures that I have listed are what I will refer to as encapsulations of truth that the original authors had gathered from their study and obedience to the Mosaic law, and ancient Jewish prophets, then condensing that understanding into brief exhortations, (commandments) the which they offered to the New Testament Church. We could form a writing based on an exhaustive analysis of the Law and prophets and point by point come to the same conclusion, but there is absolutely no need for that, since the New Testament Apostles did this for us. Our lot is to obey these commandments and to enjoy the fruit of that obedience. And if we will not give ourselves to the obedience of these and other commandments of the Lord, then we shall certain “eat” the fruit of our unbelief and disobedience. Such fruit fills our American society, and could never exist among an obedient-godly people. A sampling of the fruit of disobedience to God's laws, and the laws of headship imparticular is:

Somewhere near 70% divorce rate for first time marriages, not to speak of people who have been married numerous times

Over 40 million “legal” abortions

Teenage fornication where 8 of 10 teens now testify that they fornicate

Search engines that can boast 997,000 pornographic sites ( I have seen this with my own eyes)

The headship of men over women, and again in particular terms the husband over the wife, and the father over his household, which includes his daughters is rightly expressed in the picture of our human body. Every properly formed body has two hands. They are equal, but opposite. All people are meant to have both a left and a right hand. Headship is that way. It is comprised of two elements that are equal but opposite, they are: authority and responsibility. By means of the women's suffrage movement of a century ago (which brought to pass the passing of the 20th amendment to the US constitution which gave American women the right to vote) we began to accept a doctrine of the devil which has worked to sow confusion and numerous evil works into our American families, and to our American culture at large. The ratification of this law stated that men and women are equal in terms of headship. In short, Papa (the male head) can not, and will not play the part of the man if head ship is taken from him. The reason for the authority of headship is so that he can fulfill the responsibility of manhood toward all of society, but especially in regards to his wife and children, and other extended family members. To take away his authority is to take away both his heart and his ability to be fully responsible. So in a nutshell, it works this way. A man will not fight for what is not his own. A wife that stands contrary to him, is in all affects not his own, her rebellion is equal to unfaithfulness, being adulterous in nature, so why should he care? Why should he pay the price to fulfill manhood to nurture, protect, provide for, lead, intercede in prayer for a woman, if she will not give herself to follow him? I realize this may sound harsh, but I'm telling you life works this way. Understand this, a man's world if filled with struggle. He fights (struggles) to overcome the passions that are inherent within his own person to maintain godliness and be steady and faithful. He fights the elements to go and do whatever kind of work he does, he has to compete with others in the work a day world, which struggle must be maintained as a friendly and gracious contest, but none the less it is a constant contest that he must endure all his life. He fights to overcome his own self centered laziness to rise up and lead and nurture his family and others. The last thing a man needs, (or wants) is to come home to civil war with his wife over who is to lead the family.

Ladies, may I submit to you some practical wisdom that will gain you great advantage in dealing with a man. Remember that the man was made firstly in the image of God Himself, and was created to be a natural living illustration of God. Whereas you as a woman was created by God to be a natural living illustration of the Church of God. NEVER, and again I say never, allow yourself to think of a man as if he is like you. For he is not, and you do not want him to be.

Point number one:

The way to victory in getting what you want with a man is by means of surrender. Even as the way of victory for the believer in obtaining from Christ what the believer desires is the way of surrender. I'm telling you, that is how it works. Any other means, be it force, nagging, manipulation, trickery, or anything else will back fire on you and cause disruption. As a part of this practice learn to cultivate a spirit of quietness. Do not be deceived into thinking that this will make you into a doormat. It is those in life who possess the quietness of a meek spirit that in the end are the true overcomers. For the meek shall inherit the earth. We have Jesus promise of this.

Point number two:

Do everything you can to maximize your femininity. Be a woman! Do everything to maximize your husband's masculinity. Never do anything to minimize his place as head thinking that in minimizing his masculinity you can gain control, and thus have your way. For you may gain control to accomplish whatever it is that you want, but you will loose out big-time in other ways.

As a part of point number two:

Obey the commandment of the Lord found in Deuteronomy 22:5 that states that a man and a woman must dress distinctfully differently, the one from the other. In modern western terms this simply means that a woman wears a dress and a man wears pants. Never, and again I say never forsake this truth. When by a pure heart a woman conducting herself in quietness of spirit begins to adorn herself completely differently then what a man would, thus by this action maximizing her femininity (womanhood), then I believe I can promise you that her husband, if he has the least spark of godly manhood will be affected to begin to rise up and play the part of a man, and begin to put away the foolish and irresponsible games that he plays in his life. Beyond that dear woman, you will in lesser ways have similar affect on men in general. For even the most ignorant of men are not blind, and they notice when a woman conducts herself in quietness of spirit adorning herself in a modest and feminine manner. You will find men will address you with greater tenderness, they will more readily open doors for you, ask if you need a hand with this or that, they wills speak to you in more gentle and respectful terms, in short do numerous acts of chivalry toward you without any provocation on your part other then how you dress yourself and the quiet spirit you handle yourself with. I have heard women in their simplicity exclaim, “It should never matter how I dress, a man should always treat a woman with respect and gentleness.” I suppose I agree with that statement, but none the less it is not how it works. Whether you or I think this is right or not is quite beside the point, but what I am telling you is that it is how it works. A man will go out of his way to show chivalry (defined as courtesy toward a woman) many times over if she is dressed in an attractive, modest dress versus pants, (especially if she is dressed in drudgy pants, and looks like a construction worker). Whether you like it or not, wish to admit it or not, open your eyes and look around and you'll see what I say is completely true. There is something in a man that responds to femininity. Whereas a woman that has the look and sound of a man may not be openly rebuked or completely shamed, but she will not be not be received and treated with the honor, (courtesy) given to the woman who is maximizing her womanhood.

As a part of point number two:

Women who cut their hair short stand in violation of natural and Scriptural laws, and in so doing are discarding their femininity. The long hair of a woman is a God given natural “covering”. It is by nature meant as a symbol that the woman is under the covering of male headship. When a woman in her ignorance or rebellion of this truth cuts her hair short she is by action saying that she can operate as a man, in effect, that she does not need a man. Further, I will remind all that the importance of the keeping of this truth is so great that the Apostle Paul taught in the churches that a woman must never pray or prophesy in public without an addition to the covering that her hair provides, that a head-covering of fabric must also be worn when a woman in public speaks of God, or prays. This practice states opening to all that she is a godly woman who recognizes that she is to be under male headship. Now, as in the case of the woman who again, whether in ignorance or rebellion to the truth cuts her hair short you will find that men will not show her chivalry. (both honor and courtesy) to the extent that they will women who by reason of understanding and obedience adorn themselves with longer, well kept hair. Why is this? It is not complicated. The maleness in a man responds to the femininity that she shows, and honors it. It is that simple. When a woman looks like a man she will be treated by men similar to how a man would treat another man, and that is with indifference. But if you as a woman appreciate something more than indifference from the male of society, then the actions of maximizing your femininity as shown in the obedience to God's commandments will bring that chivalry you desire to pass.

In conclusion

I again encourage all women everywhere that the way of victory in obtaining from your male head what you want is the way of surrender. Do everything to maximize his manhood (even if the man is a weeny in a hundred ways, you have to start somewhere). Do everything to maximize your own femininity, (womanhood). This means in word, in tone, in manner of speaking, in dress, in the bedroom, in the modesty of your clothing, in quietness of speech. If you will by faith persevere in this, you will find that the spirit of your life and your actions will provoke not only your man, but men in general as they may have contact with your life, to treat you with greater courtesy, respect, and gentleness.

Marriage, Headship, And Definition Given To The Woman's Calling—A Biblical Perspective

And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17) Through the wisdom of this admonition Christian husbands and wives can gain a very great volume of exceedingly important truth that is applicable to everyday married life. This is possible because we have learned that God in His wisdom created the marriage relationship to irror the relationship of Christ and the Church. (which also includes the individual believer) Therefore the admonition and wisdom of the Scripture that is spoken in respect to the church can be taken as wisdom that will relate to a wife. Scriptures that are spoken in reference to Christ can be viewed in respect to a husband. For the husband mirrors Christ, the wife mirrors the Church. (individual believer) Therefore, when the believer is commanded to do all things in the name of Jesus, the mirrored wisdom of that is that a wife is commanded to do all things in the name of her husband. Even as it has been said from the beginning, that she was created as a help mate, (an appropriate helper) to her husband.

The application of the wisdom of this truth can be fitted into any situation and will give clear guidance as to the attitude and behavior pattern of any wife. In a generation where the hearts of godly women are crying out to understand the parameters of godly womanhood, this wisdom will stand as a monumental aide. For in short it can be put this way. As the believer behaves before the Lord Jesus, so the wife behaves before her husband.

Let's Examine The Functionality Of The Relationship Of Christ And The Believer

Christ is in Heaven. He is not bodily upon the earth, but rather by the Holy Spirit Christ rules in the hearts of His own. He is not present to moment by moment be at the side of any believer to dictate to him or her the every move they should make. Rather, the believer, possessing the Holy Spirit by means of God's promises, God's commandments, and the exhortations of the prophets and apostles finds his way in the world. We refer to this as being led of the Spirit. The believer is a free individual who is under the government of the Lord Jesus, and from his or her heart both wishes and presses to do the will of the Lord Jesus, acting according to the understand and conviction of heart that he or she possesses. In short the believer is as a steward. Being under commission of the Lord, but free to work out the details of his life according to his own understand and choice in so much as he does it within the guidelines (parameters) of the Lord's word. Therefore the believer is seen among men as possessing his own sovereignty (for other men can not see the dictation of the Lord's Spirit in that person's heart) but in truth the believer is not sovereign unto himself, (in a position to do as he pleases) but in his or her heart is completely subject to the Lord Jesus.

So Is The Way Of A Wife

The calling of a wife was instituted by God to be a reflection of the calling of the believer. The wife is meant to operate under the calling and government of her husband, but within those parameters is meant by God to be free to live out and express her individual person and gifts. Even as when an unsaved person comes to the salvation of Jesus, that does not mean that that person quites being who he is, but rather that the person changes the dedication of his life from self centered to God centered. The now saved person still has personal likes and dislikes, personal abilities, and gifts, and objectives in life. Although the personal attributes will be influenced by the salvation experience, the new believer certainly will not discontinue being who his basic person is because he has become a Christian. Even so the life of a wife is her's to live, but to please God and be the reflection of a believer as she is meant to be she must forsake a self centered focus in life and take on a life focus that is in line with her husband and his purpose and calling in life. For she is his helpmate. The mate made to particularly be a fitting aide him in life.

In the early part of the last century there was a movement a foot in America called The Woman's Suffrage Movement. It was a humanistic (man centered, versus God centered) attempt to answer the reality that many men in society behaved toward women in a self centered, oppressive, and domineering manner. Men who being in the place (and rightly so) of headship over the woman, or women of their households operated outside the spirit of Christ, and in this self centered mode of the operation of their headship oppressed the female members of their family. Please note, I am not saying for a moment that male headship is not right, in fact male headship is completely right, but it must function in the spirit of Christ. Because of the woman suffrage movement the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution was passed which gave the legal right of equal headship to the female citizens of the United States. This being shown in that, any adult female now has the right to vote in a civil election. The passing of the the 19th constitutional amendment proved to be a beginning point of a long line of deteriorations in American society, both in the civil and religious community, and have served to create great confusion and disruption in family life, in that it by decree effectively flip-flopped the God given order of the family.

The extreme multiplication of the practice of cross dressing as demonstrated in the greater portion of all women in America dressing in pants as would a man. (Deuteronomy 22:5) The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are an abomination to the Lord thy God.

The practice of no fault divorce and divorce in general, which is nearly 70% of first time marriages.

The fact that approximately 50% of all American young people now live together outside of the marriage covenant.

The practice of using birth control to size down the family, rather then inviting children as a blessing from God and a way to increase His kingdom. The practice of which in my mind embodies the spirit of abortion.

The exceeding increase in marital unfaithfulness and pornography. These vices have very directly been empowered by the woman's suffrage movement and the introduction of the 19th amendment which have worked to demasculinize men. Head ship and responsibility go hand in hand, so when we as a nation took away the legal right for a man to exercise headship many men simply quite endeavoring to fulfill their role as responsible husbands and fathers and began to play. By play, I mean they simply checked out from bearing the weight of responsibility of manhood, and on a larger and larger scale simply surrenders themselves to whatever pleasure came along. This has been in many ways the picture of the American male, increasingly so, since the passing of the 19th amendment.

These vices and more have sprung forth from, or were strengthened by the introduction of the 19th amendment, in that it served to demasculinization the male person, causing confusion in reference to the God given order of authority in the home. Again, the 19th amendment was a humanistic endeavor to answer a spiritual problem. The problem being that males neglected to seek the Lord to operate their headship over women in a Christ like manner, but for the woman to usurp his headship and calling by means of civil law or any other way was then, and still is now an ungodly action. The answer that allows the total expression of a woman's life is for men in general to operate headship over women in general as Christ does over the Church, and husbands and fathers in particular terms to operate headship over their households even as Christ does over His own household.

The question of the equality of the sexes has been asked and fought over by many. The answer to this question is yes, they are equal, and no, they are not equal. In reference to worth before the Creator the sexes are completely equal. The Mighty One did not make one portion of His creation with more worth than another portion. In reference to what is in the heart beat of men I will tell you that a man with any appreciable spark of manhood views the worth of women, and their children as superior to his own life. That is answered in the willingness that men have shown down through the ages to fight and die for the sake of women and their children. Most men do not go to war for their own sake, but for the benefit of those they love. That is just flat a reality. In reference to headship, the answer is No. Men and women are not equal. They were created unequal. The male was created to be in headship over women, and in that position to be the greater servant in the relationship. Please consider with me this question. Is the believer equal to Christ? I would answer that question this way. In reference to worth Christ obviously thought that the lives of believers were more important than His own, for while we were yet sinners and His enemy, Christ died for us. In this action Christ showed that He considered our worth greater than His own. Yet, in reference to headship He is appointed Lord over all. We who are His share in His government, but He alone is appointed Lord of the nations.

Some Of The Most Basic Parameters Of God's Law And Wisdom That Women Must Operate Within

The question has been asked in one form or another countless times, “What is the role and calling of a woman, what, or what can she not do in a man's world?” (I say a man's world, in that the Creator put men in charge, and commissioned womankind to aide him in this charge. But that does not mean that she has no part or right in life. But her part and rights must be realized within the parameters of who and what she was created to be, and to express in life.) To ask what the woman's place and calling is, is a very good question. For in seeking to answer that question you will at the same time answer questions pertaining to the dynamics of the believers calling in the Lord. I believe this question is answered very affectively by the principle of what we have been discussing. She is welcome to do anything that they (her male head and herself) would choose to do that does not stand in violation of certain basic laws that pertain to family life, marriage and motherhood. Even as a believer is free in life to pursue whatever direction he may wish to, in so much that his actions are not contrary to God's laws, or the particular conviction of the Holy Spirit to his life.

She must act in obedience to her husband. (Titus 2:3-5) The obedience of a wife to her husband is the picture of the obedience of the believer to the Lord.

She can not be in a place of teaching the basic dictates of life and godliness to men, or the usurping of authority of men in general, or her immediate male headship. Why? This action expresses the picture of a believer teaching the Lord Jesus, and the believer ruling his own life, rather then submitting to the ruler ship of the Lord Jesus. This picture must never be! It expresses an ungodly and slanderous picture.

If she is a married woman her duty before God and a husband is to bear children and guide the home. Therefore, it has very high priority. This wisdom can be drawn from the Scripture from the beginning of it to the end of it, but is encapsulated in a single Scripture penned by the Apostle Paul of the first century Church. (1 Timothy 5:14) I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house..... . As long as this priority is fulfilled then the woman is free to do whatever she'd like with her time and energies.

My experience is that a godly man is very pleased to see the women of his house function to the full extent of their abilities and desires, in so much as they are within the parameters of their God given calling. Just like Christ is very glad to see any believer functioning to the full extent of his or her abilities, in so much as they do so with in compliance to God's word.

So Dear Woman, what ever you do, ask yourself, “Do I do this in the name of my husband? Is this action, or proposed action within the confines of what I know to be what he wants done? Is it after the spirit of of my husband's character, and objectives?” If you study your husband as a believer ought to study the Lord Jesus, then you will learn what his heart beat is. You will learn what pleases him and what does not please him. You will learn what it is that God has put into his heart to do and to speak in life, and in so doing enable yourself to very effectively operate with great independence. For in most all cases the man who has a faithful wife is in no hurry to “pour water on the fire” of her personal expression and abilities. For doing that adds nothing to him. For in truth he needs her help in life, plus he enjoys seeing her fulfilled in what she wants to do. For the life of a wife is as a flowering plant. It is most beautiful when its in full bloom, and in such a case offers the promise of being much more fruitful. For a man is very much a simpleton that does not figure out the basic reality that when a woman in his household is unhappy it negatively affects everyone. But, when she is contented and happy, life is better for everyone in the family. Carefully consider the Proverbs 31 woman. She is a good example of a very industrious and fruitful life, but a life under authority.

The Bathing Of Your Wife—An Article For Men

In the book of Ephesians chapter five The Apostle Paul speaks of an eternal mystery that had been hidden from most eyes up until that time. He then, with other early proclaimers of truth worked to make this mystery known and to teach men and women to walk in it. The reality of this mystery was very largely lost during the dark ages right up until the present time, but now the blanket of confusion that grips this generation is being pulled back and the truth revealed and taught as to how to effectively walk out the truths contained in this mystery. Namely, how that Christ and the Church are illustrated in the man-woman relationship, and most precisely in the husband-wife relationship. Let us in this writing focus on one aspect of this mystery which is spoken of in these Bible verses. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

O'Man, Along With Yourself Bathe Your Wife

As the body needs to be bathed, so the souls of both men and women need to be bathed. The body is bathed in water, the soul of man needs to bathed in the Word of God. It is a niave Christian that denies the reality that one needs to often and continually go to the Word of God (the Scripture) and by the leading and conviction of the Holy Spirit allow it's washing of his soul. I will refer to this process as devotions, but whatever you may call it, it is meant to include daily prayer and Bible reading, and Bible meditation, and the fellowship of a godly church. Continuing devotions are needful if the believer is to walk rightly in the Lord. This discipline must never be forsaken. Although the reality of continual devotions needs to be practiced by both man and woman, both sexes regardless of their age need to personally utilize the major components of devotion (prayer, Scripture reading, Scripture memorization and meditation, and godly fellowship) on a continuing regular basis. However, the responsibility of the male head in the home (husband or father) in the “washing of the souls” of himself and his family is superior to that of the other members of his family. In short he is to often, and by often I mean more than just a daily duty to have family devotions. The discipline of washing his family with God's word is a thing that must be developed into a man's character so that he is, so to speak, a “washer”. So that moment by moment, whatever the activity, whatever the goings on in the family, whatever the age level and various involvements of the family members he is there injecting God's wisdom and heart. (God's word, ministered by the Holy Spirit) Yes this must include very frequently bringing his family members, as well as himself, before the Lord in prayer and to the Scripture, but it means more than that. It means that he must be there to speak into their lives and help them understand what the will of God is and how to walk it out in their lives. For with out this being done faithfully their chances of success in walking with God are very greatly diminished, and if neglected by him, (the male head) may lead to extreme if not total loss in regards to his family members.

Imagine for a moment the extreme unpleasantness that would be associated with any human body that is never bathed. Especially any adult human body. We would consider it the most primitive, degrading, and irresponsible thing for any adult person not to bathe himself. For he would begin to stink terribly. This my friend is exactly what happens when the souls of your family members are not faithfully washed in the “water” of God's word, by the Holy Spirit. Sir, whether you are a young single adult man, or a newly married man, or a seasoned married man with children, if you do not see the need for what I am speaking of then you are blind and need to ask the Living God to open your eyes. For if your inability to see this continues it will lead to extreme loss on your part, and a loss of God being honored in your life and family.

As Important As the Washing Of Your Wife and Children's Souls Are, It Must Not Be Done With The Wrong Spirit

The practice of washing your family with God's word needs to be after the manner of the wisdom of the Scriptures as pointedly stated in the book of James 4:13-17. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, senual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. The male head that will ( and must) wash the souls of his family with God's word must do so without strife. There must be a control (meekness of spirit) over himself as he in the spirit of purity, peacefulness, non arrogance, (easy to be entreated) and mercy bathes the souls of those whom God Almighty has given him to be head over in this world. Instruction, rebuke, encouragement, comfort, suething, healing, guidance, enlightenment, these words speak in part of that which by the Holy Spirit the head of the family needs to minister to his own. Just as the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit ministers the same to those that are His own. The Lord Jesus never neglects any man who will avail himself to come before Him in humility, truly seeking Him and His ways, but will come to that man and reveal himself to him, and minister to him, (wash his soul) so that he might do the same for those that are his own.

Those That Are Not Bathed Will Stink

So what happens O' Man if you do not fulfill your responsibility to seek the Lord and then to wash the souls of your own? What will happen? The answer to that is obvious to any thinking person. They (as well as yourself, if you do not seek the Lord as you ought) will begin in issues of the spirit to stink. Yes, even as the body will smell if not bathed, even so the behavior of your self and family will in reference to godliness begin to stink. Now, catch this. If life is easy at the time. Meaning if there are little or few pressures on you and your family then you will likely sin less, and thus the “smell” of sin will be less at such a time. Even as a human body that is not working, and has a comfortable temperature, etc, does not soil as quickly and stinks less. So is the soul of man. But when the family members are brought under pressures then I guarantee you the stinking (sin) will be obvious if the souls of each of the family are not found hidden in, and relying upon the Spirit of God continually.

In what form will this stinking (sin) be manifest? Anger, resentment, unforgiveness, irritableness, every sort of self centered actions, rebellion to authority, dullness of heart to care for what is right, sloppiness in dress, conduct and manners, a lack of sensitivity to what is right and a growing tolerance to what is wicked and foolish, a lack of the warmth of heart, (a coldness of spirit) , a lack of genuine honor of the wife to her husband, being replaced by an indifference. If this is not corrected it will lead to an open dislike and dishonor, which in many cases leads to out right treachery, which leads to divorce. You'll hear name calling and cursing, and telling of evil or off color jokes and stories, etc. These vises, among others are commonly the beginnings of the fruits of the lives of those that do not daily seek the Lord. You father, you husband, are the very gift of God to your family to see to it that your yourself, and your family members are brought continually and often to before the Lord so that both yourself and they have the very best opportunity to avoid the many vises of the soul, that attend those that do not seek the Lord.

Major Avenues Of The Introduction Of Sin Into The Modern Western Family

Can we identify the chief avenues of the introduction of the sin that soils the souls of our American people? I think so, consider with me, for I believe we can identify several major players. Television is one of the very greatest corrupting forces in modern western life. Across the board, according to my view of things, American television is about 95% moral trash. I would say that PBS, the public broadcasting station does extremely better in reference to outright lewdness and moral perversion, but none the less promotes many humanistic (man centered) programs. Such as the many that promote the doctrine of evolutionism. You, O'Man, need to be aware of this. Movies, are likely the second major possible influence for evil. Face it man, we live in a perverse generation, and if you will save yourself and those that are yours, then you will need to guard very closely over what your allow into your home via movies. Radio and music are I suppose the third major intrusion of evil into the home. I suggest Sir that if you are saved, that you consider your tv as “saved”, your radio as “saved”, your movies as “saved.” For I propose to you that when you got saved every element of your life should have been “saved” with you. Therefore, what you allow in your home must be after that same manner. The philosophies of modern education is what I view as the fourth major corruption of godly morals. Why is this? The school system is owned by a government that has become extremely influenced by humanistic agenda. If you set your children, especially your young children in front of people who they will view as learned and wise, then your children will follow the ideas, the practices, and spirit of these people, and if they are not Christian then your children will be taught by them to in effect hate and disobey God. I could say much concerning this, but if one will stop and think it through the extreme obvious danger is apparent.

More Subtle Influences That May Prove Much Closer To Your Heart

Now having mentioned these open threats against the well being of your family's hearts and minds, let me speak of more subtle influences, that I believe I can promise you that you will find much more difficult to deal with. They are the corrupting influences of things that are closer to us, and often more dear to us. One may be your very church. Yes, you heard me right. To the soul that is honest and that looks to God it is quite apparent that we live in a generation where there is much confusion and even outright rebellion in the Church of God toward what is right. A few examples of this. A very great percentage of all that is known to be called Christian allows without any rebuke a woman to dress in the same manner as a man would. This cross dressing is referred to as an abomination in the law of God (Deuteronomy 22:5). The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord they God> I will not take time to go into detail concerning the wisdom behind this commandment, for it can be found in others of my writings, but let it suffice to say that if a woman dresses like a man she will of necessity begin to take on the attributes and the place of a man, and this, with out fail. Another common fundamental transgression of God's law, but similar in nature to that of the adornment issue is that again the greater portion of all that I know to be called Christian in western societies allows the woman to usurp the place of her male head to cast civil and religious votes. This is an obvious transgression against what the Apostle Paul taught to be the law of God as is spoken in 1 Corinthians 11:3: But, I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. I am not naive to the fact that our American nation passed a constitutional amendment in 1920 allowing for the adult female person to cast a civil vote. I am well aware of this. I also am well aware that it stands 100% opposed to God's law. So you decide O'Man if you will obey God or men. You will suffer reproach and difficultly if you follow God, and many are the arms that will accept you if you deny God's word and follow the course of this generation, but in so doing you not only deny God's words, but are working to create a two headed monster in your home. For just like no physical body can have two heads and not be considered a freak of nature, in like manner no home (marriage and family constitute the most most basic social unit, (or body) of people instituted by God) can have two heads and not be a freak, and being thus effect civil war within your marriage. These two corrupting religious influences are mentioned by me in that they are very basic and very wide spread, but there are many diversions to truth found in religion, far to many to mention here. These you will have to identify yourself. Beyond these two common corrupting influences the next potentially harmful influence I will warn you of O'Man is the work environment that your wife goes to each day. I tell you this is to be considered very carefully. For that environment itself washes (affects) her soul, but very often it is polluted water, leaving a film, if not a heavy covering of feministic, humanistic, self centered ideas from her female companions in the work place. Or, perhaps the corrupt influence of some man at the job place who either in an outright or casual manner is “hitting” on her. I warn you O'Man, do not be naïve concerning these, for these influences that I mention are very often REAL, and must be faced. The next influence that I will mention is that of the extended family. Does your extended family follow after your heart-beat for the Lord, and for His truth, or do they undermine what you teach your family? I will not belabor this issue, but will simply leave to your consideration the words of the Lord Jesus from Matthew 12:30, He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. If you have extended family that do not honor the values that you propose to lead your family into and work against you, especially if they purposely work against you, then you need to face up to this and take what ever action is needful to protect your family members. This may be difficult and painful, but to not do it may mean the purposes of God for your family members may be greatly thwarted.

God's Kingdom In One's Heart Is Not Built Over Night

O'Man, as enlightenment comes to you from the Holy Spirit, as God's truth is opened to you and conviction to obey and follow God comes into your heart there is one very basic bit of wisdom I very greatly feel I need to impress upon you. Even, as very likely, the Holy Spirit had to deal with you over a period of time to bring you to the place of understanding and willingness to submit to His leading in regards to various issues, in like manner you will need to extend patience and mercy as you instruct your family and work to bring them along in the convictions of your heart. Yes, it is your responsibility to rule over the affairs of your family bringing them into godliness, but mind you that your hand in dealing with them be after the manner that the Lord Jesus deals with His own. He instructs us and brings conviction to us, and will if we are not obedient to follow His laws bring pressures to us, even very great pressures to us in order to bring us to the place of humble obedience. In like manner you must deal patiently and tenderly with your own, but in the course of time, which only you and the Holy Spirit can rightly determine, your family must follow after the laws of God that you teach and obey yourself. Never, never, insist on any point of wisdom or commandment of God that you yourself do not give yourself to obey. This is madness, and will drive the hearts of your family far from you. Please note my brother. In the end every soul of man must make their own personal decision to surrender to Jesus and follow the ways of God, but if you play the part of the man, as God has intended, your family's success in life and godliness is far more likely.

The application of this wisdom that we have spoken in this article will do much to prove your manhood. If you will allow the Lord to bring you along is this discipline the statue of your own manhood will be continually increased, but along with that your family will be given the chance they need to flourish as Christians in the world. Is this not what you want? Is this not what the Lord our God wants? I believe it is, and I believe you will agree if you are of godly heart. Amen

To honor a bride is a quality that has been developed among God fearing people for thousands of years who have realized the limitless value that the bride holds for the groom, and the promise of life and family. These facts, although significant as they are do not speaking of a still greater reality, that being, that the bride is meant by God to be an illustration of the Bride of Christ.

Color, style and ceremonial importance of the gown can depend on the religion and culture of the wedding participants. The styles and colors of wedding dresses have varied according to the fashions of the time, and the circumstances of the wedding. The wedding dress in several Middle Eastern and Eastern European cultures was highly elaborate, and regarded as a means of displaying the bride’s dowry. The color blue has been connected to purity. Many wedding dresses in China are colored red, the traditional color of good luck. In northern parts of India the traditional color of women's wedding garments is red, a color symbolizing auspiciousness. South Indian weddings traditionally use white or cream colored saris. Green is an unfortunate color because of its associations with fairies, and its wearing is also said to fore-tell a change into clothes of mourning. Purple is out because it is seen as a mourning color, one favored by widows from their second year of bereavement onward. In modern western societies almost anything passes for a wedding dress however, in times of old, traditional wedding dresses were flowing gowns usually white in color.

Semi-ancient Biblical Influence

I suggest to you that there is a far deeper and more meaningful understanding of the color of a bride's gown than luck, or to speak of one's cultural, or financial standing. The major influence of wedding gowns being primarily white has sprung forth from two sources that are at least as old as the New Testament writings—One: that white represents the purity and innocence of a virgin woman. In fact, in Godey’s Lady’s Book, 1849, this statement was printed: “Custom has decided, from the earliest ages, that white is the most fitting hue, whatever may be the material. It is an emblem of the purity and innocence of girlhood, and the unsullied heart she now yields to her chosen one.” Beyond these considerations the writings of the New Testament Bible have influenced societies, suggesting that the Bride of Christ, (a metaphorical term used to identify that chosen group of believers who will be deemed a fitting eternal partner to the Lord Jesus) is to be dressed in white. The color white testifying of the righteousness of the saints. Therefore, among God fearing people though the generations it has been their aim to copy this pattern when they have given their daughters in marriage. The question may be asked by a bride to be, “If I have not kept myself pure in the past, but have now confessed my sin, and have turned to God, can I still be married in white?” The answer is most certainly yes. For the blood of Jesus covers all sin. Therefore, all that are found in Him are white and pure in His eyes irrespective of what their past's have been.

Semi-Modern Western Influences

The Victorian era wisely placed a heavy emphasis on feminine purity and chastity, and since white represented these attributes, it was considered a most suitable color for a bride. The reality that the practices and affairs of leading people in society can have tremendous influence on cultures is seen in the marriage of Queen Victoria to her cousin Albert of Saxe-Coburg in 1840. It likely having more influence on weddings than any other modern event. Queen Victoria put the wheels in motion by marrying in white. Though brides continued to wed in gowns of different colors, this single event has been seen to set the modern western standard of white being seen as the color of choice for weddings.

The Industrial Revolution also brought about change. By the 1890’s and the arrival of the department store, almost every woman could realize her dream of being married in a “new” wedding dress. When the Depression hit, brides made do with their “best” dress for the wedding. Because of economic restraints many brides were known to have dyed their white wedding dress a different color after the wedding. Thus making it suitable for everyday use. During WWII, women considered it their duty to give up the elaborations of the traditional wedding, many times opting for quick and easy impromptu services before their husband was taken off by the military. After the World War economic times changed offering to women the cash needed to again experience more elaborate ceremonies.

Divorce—Why Does the Bible Testify That It Is Hated Of God?

Malachi 2:16 (NIV) “I hate divorce”, says the Lord God of Israel,....

Is it only because of the deep emotional trauma that can and will be experienced by parents and children alike when divorce comes to a home?

Maybe its because of a child's tears as one of its parents leave the home. Maybe its the child's anxiety, questions, anger, feelings of betrayal from parents and the adult world. Or maybe it is the reality that what a child sees his parents do in his youth, that the child is more likely himself to do later in life when he as an adult finds himself in disagreement with his spouse.

Perhaps also it could be that God knows that “the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence”. That running from life's problems and choosing to violate God's commandments will not bring forth the happiness and fulfillment that the marriage partner, or partners are seeking by looking elsewhere.

Oh Yes it is true that because of the greatness of God's love He is hurt when we choose the wrong answers for He knows that pain and disappointment will certainly follow.

HOWEVER

Yes, God knows that divorce creates exceedingly tremendous pain and loss in the lives of all involved, and although His love for mankind is beyond measuring, and the pain and loss of men hurts His heart, yet there is still a more basic reason why God hates divorce.

DIVORCE is a slanderous testimony against the Mighty Creator and His church!

HOW SO? God in is His unsurpassed wisdom and ability created the man and the woman to be a reflection of Himself and His church in the world. Marriage is meant to be a natural living picture of what He is like, and how He relates to the One who is the apple of His eye. The Christian believer—the Church, (Gen. 1:27) (Eph. 5:22-33) and how the Christian believer-- the Church, is to relate to Him.

SO when the man divorces (without proper cause, and there are very few) his wife he is living out the picture of God divorcing a believer. This is a slanderous picture, for it is a lie. God will never leave one of his own, accept that that one has thrown their faith away!

WHEN the woman divorces her husband (without proper cause, and there are very few) she is living out the picture of the believer leaving the Lord. This also is a picture that must never be expressed, for when a believer abandons their faith they condemn themselves to eternal death and judgment. This picture must never be expressed, for it is an unspeakable wickedness and loss.

(portions of Revelation 22:12-15, New International Version) Jesus says, “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done......Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have right to eat of the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

To live in a manner that expresses a slanderous testimony concerning God's truth, is to live a lie. According to God's word (Rev. 21:8) all liars shall have their place in the Lake of Fire.
Repentance is the only answer!

Cross Dressing--A Common Modern Western Sin

Deuteronomy 22:5.... The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination to the Lord thy God.

I was 42 years of age and had lived an open Christian testimony since I was 14 year's old, yet it was not until this time that this commandment came to me. Speaking with a man concerning issues related to Divine order it was suggested to me to read this scripture. I did, and the conviction of the Lord was exceedingly sharp to my spirit. For I had openly lived contrary to this commandment all my adult life, in that I had never insisted on my wife or daughters dressing differently than a man. I can not express to you the embarrassment that I felt as the Holy Spirit convicted me of this commandment. HOWEVER, I had a question, and it was expressed in these simple words. “Lord, how can the Great Creator, the Lord of all things, get excited about threads? What do you care about clothing if it is not sexually immodest?”

THE ANSWER came to me very quickly. Within a few weeks He had opened my understanding.

THE MAN was created by God to be a living natural representation of God Himself. The woman was created to be a living natural representation of the thing most dear to God's heart, His Church.

HERE IN IS THE SIN. Clothing has three basic purposes. To protect from the elements: without clothing we would freeze or roast in the sun. Secondly-- To preserve modesty: men and women being sexually oriented beings must of necessity be covered, or the lusts of men's flesh would rule every life completely. Thirdly clothing is symbolic. Clothing speaks. So when a woman dresses like a man she is giving the picture (saying by her action) that she is the same as the man, and since the man and the woman are created to represent God and the Church, she is expressing by her behavior that the Church is EQUAL to God. And we know that any two equal things are sovereign unto themselves, and neither is subject to the other. This is the spirit of Satan, it is a spirit of usurpation, it is also the spirit of feminism that has filled our American Society. Satan sinned in that he strove for equality with God. (Is 14:13-15) He who was the highest of the heavenly creation of God (Ez. 28: 12-15) endeavored to usurp God's place and rule himself. He now entices men who are the highest natural creation of God to grasp to be equal to God through usurpation. This is the spirit of the action of all women who refuse to adorn themselves in a manner that is distinct fully different than that of a man.

IT IS THE KOWNLEDGE OF THIS COMMANDMENT (even if they may not have understood the truth behind it) that kept prior generations within Western societies from mixing the adornment of male and female. Women wore dresses, men wore pants. They dressed distinctively differently the one from the other.

WILL YOU LOVE GOD ENOUGH to take upon yourself the yoke of this understanding? Jesus said, “If you love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

What Makes a Man, What Is Being a Man All About?

Hey America:

What makes a man? What is being a man all about? When God struck the original match, He had a set of attributes in mind for both sexes. All items created by man have their own designed purpose. How much more do we who are God’s ultimate creation? In writing this, I do not mean to in any way indicate that I have arrived at the full stature of manhood, for I have not. In fact, I believe only one man completely filled that bill. His name is Jesus. However, that does not mean that I do not press toward fulfillment of this virtuous calling.

A true man loves his wife and children. He lives for them - to see them happy, secure, healthy, and provided for. He lives that they may fulfill their respective callings before God and be delivered safe and full into the heavenly kingdom. He will protect them from dangers, giving his life if need be. He guides and rules over his home even as Christ does the Church. He does not let them wander without direction. He himself has direction because a true man is plugged into the Chief Director. He rules his household with patience, and gentleness, but unbending in basic principles. He honors his wife as his queen. They are partners, companions, friends. There is no competition for the throne in the house because she is his greatest earthly delight, and the word of God dwells in her also. A true man is satisfied within his marriage vow, within her arms. He eats at her table. He is honored by his children because he is truthful, gentle, predictable, and fun loving. But he will whip their backsides if they don’t obey, for he realizes that discipline administered in their youth is far better than rearing a hellion, or a fool. His word is his bond, and he would sooner suffer hurt than bend the truth. He bends his knees before God alone. He is a free thinker not subjecting himself to every wind of popular teaching that may come along. He loves the truth of God and finds his life’s bearings in the company of godly men, and by the prayerful study, and obedience to the Holy Scriptures; for he understands the scriptures to be a written revelation of the mind and heart of the Almighty God. He hates the way of liars, hypocrites, and the effeminate who try to feminize manhood. However, in his strength, he is not macho and over-bearing. He allows others, especially his household, to be who they are, to blossom as flowers in the garden of life, but he will do a little pruning if necessary.

He concerns himself with the affairs of his community and his nation, to establish and maintain justice, wisdom, equity, purity, proper judgment, and godly vision; in short, he works to assure godly living in his generation, to bring forth Christ’s kingdom. This true man, is a godly man who hates the way of the liberal man. Just as the liberal man (who is a loser) hates the way of the godly man. Their ways are at enmity, the one with the other. For the liberal man thinks after the fashion of this present world, according to the principles of the Prince of Darkness. He thinks according to the mode of arrogance and rebellion, according to the lust of his flesh and his eyes. He is a man pleaser, a self pleaser, instead of a God pleaser. It is this type of man who would support the murder of the unborn, socialism, feminism, humanism, materialism, atheism, situational ethics, and all other godless philosophies. The way of the ungodly man shall surely be held in judgment, and he shall experience very great destruction, even eternal damnation if he does not submit himself to the Lord’s Christ. Lastly, let me say that the Godly man knows that he shall one day answer to God his creator for what he did in this life, so he humbly cries out, “Dear God, help me!” For the way of the righteous, that true man, his way grows brighter and brighter, as does the earth at the rising of the sun, until he receives a welcome from the Almighty and His Christ into an eternal habitation prepared for all who love light.

Seed of God-Seed of Man

As I begin this teaching a statement that the Apostle Paul made which is found in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 comes to mind. For although we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imagination, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. In order for the word of God to have control in and over us we must come to the place where we learn to love God and His word more than we love being “free” to do our own will. This is not a thing that any one can accomplish for you, nor is it a thing that you can accomplish no your own, but only as we surrender to the Lord, and He does this work in us, can we come to a place of surrender. I can not speak for any other, but I wish to be a person whose has learned to think and judge according to Christ's standards, not those of the world around me. Not even by religious standards, but God's alone.

The topic at hand today is birth control. I am not a scientist or a sociologist that I will endeavor to communicate from their perspective. And although I am a male person I will not endeavor to speak from what might be called a man's point of view, or from from what I might perceived to be a woman's point of view, but from the point of view of a man of God, a servant of our Lord Jesus. So, I will speak in His name, according to the wisdom that He has granted to me.

God our creator, holy and wise created all things both visible and invisible. (Col. 1:15-16, Rev. 4:11) Obviously then this includes all human life, both male and female. In that He is wise, all things that He created He did so with particular purpose. Now I believe we can only barely begin to fathom all the reasoning behind why God created us as He did, but this I do believe. That every detail of the human person has purpose behind it, and that when we align our selves, by the Holy Spirit to both His laws and promises then we are brought to a place where our total being, spirit, soul and body will properly reflect the person and purpose of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus the sexuality of the human person is meant to be instructed by the Holy Scriptures, and not human reasoning. Human reasoning can not begin to fathom the greatness of the purposes of God for us. Therefore it will lead us in paths that are far short of God's purpose, and perhaps entirely contrary to His purposes.

Highlights of personal testimony

First of all before I go to the meat of this teaching may I interject some of my personal testimony. Having come to the the faith of Jesus as a young teenager and by His grace having received a love of the Word of God. I married at 24 years of age, and was at that point unsure and confused in regards to the subject of birth control. The Scripture appeared to teach one thing and the church another. My bride readily accepted the idea that we had every right to “control birth” with anything short of abortion. The which we held to be murder of the unborn. I was not so sure of this as what she appeared to be. I held for a very long time in the back of my mind the commandment of the Lord to Noah and his sons, which I believed was past down to all men through these ancient men, which was to be fruitful and multiply. Which seemed to me to be saying, “do not stop the children from coming, but rather bring them on!” The traditions of the church in both passive and direct ways taught me that this commandment, as well as many others, had no control over me, but was only for that time and that place. It was not until after many years that by the instruction of the Lord I began to see that the “old testament” laws are not void, but very much in place, and serve as pictures of heavenly realities. As this revelation began to come to me so did understanding in regards to what is called birth control.
The Creator made mankind in His image, as a picture of Himself and the Church. Keep that foundational understanding upfront in your reasoning, for it will guide you into the truth in regards to so very many things. It is one of the very first expressions of truth found in the Scripture. Genesis 1:26 says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness......verse 27....So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, both male and female created he them.” Therefore it imperative for all people to know His laws and obey them, for in obeying His word we conform to His image in the behavior of our lives. Yes, I realize and I praise God that when I (we) was born again my inner man was fully and completely recreated after the image of Christ, but the behavior of my everyday person must be brought, as it is said by Isaiah the prophet, “line upon line, precept upon precept”, into a place of compliance. When I do not obey God, the actions of my life give out a slanderous testimony. When I obey God the actions of my life give a truthful and proper testimony concerning God. The actions of the lives either testify the truth, or give a slanderous testimony.
God's seed is pictured in the seed of the man
It is said in Hebrews 12:9 that God is the father of spirits. Meaning that He is the father of all those born from above. (born again). His word, which is His seed, is sown into the world by means of the Church, which is His wife. ( this is an allegorical truth, for God who is a spirit does not take a natural woman as a wife, but is symbolic of the relationship He has with the those He calls to Himself in Christ, Ephesians 5:23-33, Isaiah 62:5b, Jeremiah 3:14, 1 Co.6:17) The word of God which is in the Church, by various means is sown into the hearts of men, and when faith is added, the new creation is born. A new creation in Christ comes forth, a child of God, who is also a child of the Church. So you see, God is our father, and the church is our mother. Peter testified of this in 1 Peter 2:23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

Let us pose a question. Would Yahweh, that is, God Almighty, would He destroy the very seed He has sown? Would He sow His seed into the world on one hand and on the other hand destroy it so that it can not bring forth that purpose for which it was sown in the first place? I think not, and apparently Isaiah the prophet did not think so, for he said in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Jesus spoke of the word of God in a parable teaching that there are four basic responses in the hearts of men in regards to God's word, but He never noted that in any case God's word was made void, or ineffective. (Mat. 13:1-23) My testimony to you is that God does not put forth His word to then destroy it, but rather that it should see its full purpose. In like manner the man's seed is to be sown without restriction, for it is a natural picture of the eternal seed of God. To destroy the seed of man is to give the picture of destroying the seed of God. This ought not to be so.

What happens when the seed is received and germinates?

New life comes forth, but just as in the case of a woman with child the child comes forth only at the discomfort and labor of its mother. For although the woman may have gloried in the comfort and passion of her lover, ( which is a picture of the believer glorying in the presence of the Lord) the carrying of the child to birth and then the delivery will take effort and endurance, but if done with the hope of the child that is coming forth, it can be a process of joy although in, and though affliction. Thus it is with the one born of the spirit. It is by the labor and affliction of prayer, evangelism, the testimony of godly lives, that the convert to the Lord Jesus will be brought forth. The Mother will pay a price. For as soon as Zion travailed , she brought forth her children. (Isaiah 66:8b.)

After birth the child and mother are bound to each other, and the life of the child is dependent on the care of the mother. This too is a picture of the new believer. Having been born of the seed of the Holy One, the new convert must learn to drink of the sincere milk of the Word which comes by means of the “breast” of the Church. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be that you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. (1 Peter 2:2-3) Again is Isaiah the prophet speaks of this mystery, and speaks of it in the picture of a woman nursing her child, and holding the child on her hip, and on her knees. ( Isaiah 66: 10-13) Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, (the Church) and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem (the Church). So we have it that the relationship between the Lord, the Church, and the new believer is meant to be mirrored in the relationship between the husband, the mother and the children they bring forth. Therefore, to by our actions bring forth any contrary picture than that which the laws and promises of God's word bring forth is living a lie. It is bringing forth a slanderous testimony of heavenly realities.

What I bring you in this teaching is in principle. There is no hard and fast law that says “thou shalt”, or “thou shalt not” in regards to birth control methods that are non-abortive in nature. I commend you to God and the Word of His grace that is able to build you up and give you a place among those that are being saved. To the end that you might by faith hear what is your's to hear and in hearing act out His word. Those that have ears to hear, let that them hear, and let each act according to the proportion of their faith. Amen!

A Parable

A discerning man left his home and visited a foreign place. It was the spring of the year, the dark rich moist soil of certain fields had been cultivated and the sower went forth and sowed his seeds. The discerning man's heart rejoiced in the hope of the crop that by God's blessing would come forth to the sower. Words of praise and thankfulness to God were upon his lips because he realized that God is the one who gives seed to the sower. Although man may plant and water, it is God who gives the increase. Naturally the farmer would seek increase, for this is his purpose. It is the purpose of the field, and of the seed.

Then, almost beyond imagination, the farmer was seen covering the entire breadth of the field with poison, seeking to destroy the seed. The discerning man watched in amazement and thought, “Dear God, he's lost his mind. Who would poison the very field he just planted? Would not it have been better to have left the seed in its sack then to have sown it into the fertile field, then gone though the effort of destroying it?” The discerning man lingered in this foreign land and watched this same process happen repeatedly in many fields. He watched men sow seed into fields that he knew did not belong to them. They were other men's fields. They also poisoned their seed. “My what a peculiar people,” he thought. Fall came. As the crops matured and harvest was neccessary, he watched as men burn their fields until they were but charred stubble...”These people are insane, “ the discerning man thought.

You America man are the farmer. The seed is he seed of your own body. The field is the body of you wife. The poison is whatever contraceptive you have used. The field not belonging to you is the wife of your neighbor or the woman you ravished outside of the marriage covenant. The fire is the destruction of abortion fueled by the wind of popular opinion. The charred stubbled fields are the lives left in the wake of this practice. The discerning man, is a people filled with God's word and purpose who recognize the madness of this generation. A question must be asked, what is the difference of outcome from the poisoning of the seed or the burning of the field, since neither produce a crop? I tell you in the name of Him who is high and holy, in the name of His Son who has been appointed ruler over the nations of this earth, that, as surely as the seed sown leads to a crop harvested, so the destruction of the seed of man though contraceptives leads to the murdering of the preborn and the new born (abortion). Contraceptives are the spirit of abortion.

Oh, that we might turn from our unbelief and wickedness and be a people prepared for the visitation of the Holy One. For God would surely come among us but our ways are offensive to Him.

First: A little something about the author: I really see myself as of extremely little importance here other than that by God's grace revelation of His wonders have been shown to me. For at this moment in time I am the human source of the understanding that will in this article be made available. This understanding is for you to take to yourself and use to add knowledge to yourself, and implement that knowledge unto your personal good, the good of your marriage, and in so doing honor the God of heaven. In the future you'll find that we'll add other writings to this blog, and I think that time will show that you'll find them very interesting and , I guess I should add, they'll be very controversial. For the purer the truth of God is, the more it is held in controversy in the world.
Secondly: Below you'll find a list of the major points of this article. I list them so that you can have an idea upfront where we are going. For when we take a trip, don't we like to have both an idea of where we're going, and how we're going to get there? Please keep in mind that when ever we obtain valuable and interesting knowledge that it leads to the desire for more. So, by God's grace that is what tomorrow is for. There will be future articles, and they will answer questions, and in so doing raise even more questions. But I trust in the answering of questions, the which we will do a lot of, that it will add up to your personal, marriage, and family joy. 1--- Can marriage bring you great joy and satisfaction? It is my testimony to you that marriage was designed by the Almighty One to, among other things, do just that. He wishes that our lives be filled with joy and satisfaction! Two points of the very statement that was just made are in my mind extremely basic to your joy and satisfaction in both life and marriage. First of all, that we were created. Thus saying, if we have been created and are not just products of chance as many would promote, then the One that created us must by basic logic have purpose in our lives. For even among men, who would create something without a purpose for it? Men do not spend time, energy, thought, finance, (in short a portion of their lives) to create anything unless they view it as having purpose. If a man creates something, he will demand a return of one sort or another from that thing that he created. How much more does the Almighty Creator have purpose in His highest of all natural things? He created us with purpose, and that purpose must be understood and pursued to have a full life. The second thought expressed in the first sentence that I wish to comment on is that our joy and satisfaction in marriage is not the only purpose for God creating both mankind and marriage. People are forever (until they can be taught by God to be differently than this) self centered. The first purpose for mankind being created, and thus living upon the earth, is not for us to be happy! Or that our lives be "fulfilled" or " happy". It is for us to glorify God with our lives. This is the most basic purpose in which all humankind was created. Until we align ourselves with this knowledge we have little hope of enduring joy and satisfaction in either life or marriage. But I say to you, it is entirely possible to be aligned with the Creator and have the joy and satisfaction of His presence in your life, marriage, family, and all that you do.
2--- How can I, or anyone else know that the bottom line purpose for all human life is to Glorify God with our lives? This knowledge has been known among men from the beginning. The Westminster Larger Catechism of 1649 said it this way, “Man's chief and highest end is to glorify God, and fully to enjoy him forever”. John the Beloved expressed after having seen a vision of heaven that certain of those that sit before the throne of God, and who cease not to say these words. “Thou are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure (which is equal to purpose) they are, and were created.” Jesus Christ, the man that the Bible teaches to be all God, yet all man, in His prayer to the Father said it this way. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Enoch, the seventh from Adam. It was said of him that he knew God in such a way that God took him from this life without having experienced death. So for me to say that you can know God, and His purpose for your life, and that this can culminate in the greatest of joy in both life and marriage is completely mine to say. For in doing so I stand on the foundation of a multitude of believers that history teaches me testified of knowing God, and the actions of their lives bore witness to this. Also, the very witness of God's Spirit testifies to me that He calls all to know Him. For He would have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. And in the truth there is joy unspeakable, and much glory.
3--- You were created, whether you are male or female to be the reflection of God and His purposes in the earth. All that is about you, your body, your soul (intellect, emotion, and will) and your very spirit was made after the similitude of God, thus made to reflect both Him and His purposes. More specifically, the male person was made to illustrate God Himself. The female person was made to be a direct reflection of that which is most valued of God, and that is the church, or the individual believer. This knowledge, and the understanding of how to live this out, is what the apostle Paul spoke of in Ephesians chapter five, verses 22 – 33. There he spoke of the marriage relationship. The apostle said that the marriage relationship was to be likened unto Christ and the church. He said that this is a great mystery which can only be revealed and understood by the Holy Spirit. The points of the understanding of how the male (man or husband) is a natural living illustration of God Himself, and the female (woman or wife) is the natural living illustration of the church, or the believer, (the believer being the single individual element of the church) are far to many to be spoken of now in this article. None the less I will list a very brief set of examples. ---- As Christ is Savior to the Church the man is called to be a savior to his wife.----As Christ is Lord (head) over the Church the man is called to be lord over his wife.----As the seed of God (1 Peter 1:23) is sown into the church and new birth comes forth,(a new born again soul) so the seed of the husband is sown into the body of the wife to bring forth new life.----As a new born believer drinks of the sincere milk of the Word (meaning scripture, 1 Peter 2:2) even so a natural mother shares the milk of her breasts that her child might live and grow. As a natural husband is the instigator of the relationship, in like manner it is Christ who calls all from the world unto Himself. Remember, He saught us first, it was not we who first saught Him. We are the sponders, He is the instigator. Please know that there are very many, and very important ways in which it can be revealed to your understanding of how we are created to in our persons, and in marriage, to reflect the Almighty and His purposes. Let it suffice to say that the understanding, and thus the proper application of these truths will lift, empower, and direct any life and marriage no matter how far off coarse it may be. For Jesus said, “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set your free.” In the most simple terms I will say that man and woman are the highest natural living picture of God and His purposes. And that if you will give yourself to discover and implement this knowledge it will bring a glory and joy into your life that are beyond words.
4--- What do I mean when I say to know and practice this will bring glory and joy into your life? I will endeavor to give both direction and definition. First of all, although I know this is not popular with very many in this generation I must say to you that to know and practice this truth you must first know the God who created you to live this truth. In simple Bible terms that means that you must be saved, or born again. Which in the very simplest terms I know means that you must turn from doing life your way, and cry out to God in the name of Jesus asking for forgivness of your wayward ways, setting your faith upon Him that He forgive your sin, and cause you to be born of the Holy Spirit into His family. You can do this any where and at any time when His conviction is upon your heart. However, you must mean it..or it will not work! But if you mean it, and believe, then He will never leave you. What do I mean by glory? In this world glory is offered: recognition, the praise of men, titles, etc.. I am not saying this is evil necessarily, but if it isn't for the sake of Jesus in world then it will be found empty in time. The praise of man always does. The glory fades. But the glory from above is a work of the Holy Spirit. When we connect with His truth and abide in it, this glory comes into us, and abides upon us. Its a glory that is a gift from God by the Holy Spirit where you can stand up, even in the worst of times and know that you are something, and that your life is adding up big time for something more important than can be humanly imagined. I'd trade the glory that men offer for this glory anytime. Now the joy I speak of is very similar. Men and women in the world who live after their own dictates and are not obedient to God's laws: liars, thieves, fornicators, adulterers, blasphemers, improperly divorced, gossips, etc, etc, these people can know certain joy. There is no doubt about that. In fact sin itself has pleasure, but when it lifts you up high on one hand, it will cast you down very low on the other hand. But the Joy from above, when one learns to walk in cooperation with God's laws and purposes (in other words, in Christ) there will be a joy that is beyond description. For it will defy all human explanation. For it will work even in the darkest hours of your life. I say to you, know God, and keep all His commandments by the Holy Spirit, and you will know His glory and joy in your life and marriage. Check out Romans 8:29-30 and 1 Peter 1:8.
5---The greater picture is that God created you to be a living mortal illustration of all the dynamics of the eternal divine relationship between He and His Bride (the Church). In His infinite wisdom and power He create the male person, who grows to be a man, and in most cases marries, to be a mortal illustration of Himself, and how He deals with the Church. He made the female person, who grows to womanhood and who will in most cases marry, to be a mortal illustration of how the Church (Christ's bride) is to respond to the Heavenly Bridegroom. So in short the study and application of all that Christ is and does will be a pattern for manhood. The study and application of all that the Church is directed to be and do will serve as a pattern for womanhood. So by implementing this simple, (but very deep) strategy you can face life and marriage one day and issue at a time, all the while knowing that (for you can see it in the picture of Christ and the Church) all your efforts are adding up to something more than you had before. I say this in regards to both your present natural marriage and the hope of that heavenly marriage experience that is yet to be fully experienced, which is spoken of in Revelation 19:7. When Christ takes the final step to make those that prepared themselves to be His bride. So I say to you once you know the greater picture it is far easier to each day take the smaller issues of life and make them conform to the greater overall purpose of God for your life and marriage, and bring true and complete satisfaction and a deep abiding sense of walking with God, and doing His purpose in the world. Amen!

Christ the Initiator

It was a full thirty years ago when I would listen to Gary S. Paxton who would sing these words. He was there all the time.......He was there all the time......waiting patiently in line......He was there all the time! I feel I know of a certainty why those few song lyrics are still today so clearly retained in my memory. It is because I perceived them to be SO VERY TRUE. I can not speak for another but in my case the memory of the Lord Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, convicting me of sin and drawing me unto Himself, are some of my very earliest memories. I only called out to Him after He began to reveal Himself to me. Jesus spoke of this truth to His disciples in John 15:16. YOU HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, AND ORDAINED YOU, THAT YE SHOULD GO AND BRING FORTH FRUIT, AND THAT YOUR FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: Jesus, by the Holy Spirit is the initiator. He is it that takes the first step in the relationship, and this truth is not only true as He draws people to Himself for salvation, but it is true all of our lives long as we walk with Him. That is why the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 2:13 FOR IT IS GOD WHICH WORKETH IN YOU BOTH TO WILL AND TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE. This friend, is the working of grace. There is no good thing that we have but that His grace did not lead us into it. Yes, we had to respond in order for it to work. But that is the nature of the relationship. He is the initiator and we are the responder.

In like manner the man is the initiator, while the woman is the responder. Remember now, in this article as in the others, we are exploring how Christ and the Church are to be pictured in the husband wife relationship. In fact we are saying that by the great genius and power of God He created the man and the woman to be MORTAL LIVING PICTURES of Himself, and that which is His highest prize, the Church. So that in looking at the lives of a husband and wife who by the Holy Spirit live according to God's commandments, you will see a picture of Christ and the Church. Sometimes we will use the terms man and husband interchangeably, and the terms woman and wife interchangeably. This is because one can not be a husband until he first comes to manhood, and one can not be a wife until she first comes to womanhood. To begin this comparison let's look at the Bible verse we quoted earlier and see what wisdom we can gleam from it. As in the case of Christ so it is given unto men to take the initiative. But let's consider the motive behind Christ's action to take the intitive and call us to Himself before any of us ever called out to Him. I could easily use a hundred scriptures to bear out that His singular purpose in regards to initiating a relationship with any of us is to know us, and to lift us up, and see us re-created into what we were created to be in the first place. He only initiates good. In like manner a suiter calling on a woman should only have her good in mind. If his motives toward her are not good and pure, to bring into her life blessing, then that man's ways are wrong and he is to be avoided. Christ the Lord calls us, and ordains us to bear much fruit and purposes that that fruit remain. It is Christ's purpose that every man's life be full and all together productive in every good work. This is to God's praise. In like manner a suiter needs from the beginning to see all the potentiality in a perspective wife. How that their lives together can amount to great things in the Lord. How that she can be affected by being a wife to him, to be all that she can be. If a man calling on a woman does not see this, then he should not engage a relationship, but leave her to another. The wise suitor understands that one day he will be held in account for all the decisions of his life. So the prospect of taking to himself a wife is no small thing. So for him to choose a godly and wise wife will bring forth blessing and honor in both this present, life and the life that is to come.

Some tips we can learn from the Lord Jesus. If we look at the manner in which He approached any and all who are His, then we can derive wisdom as to how a man should approach a woman to enter a relationship with her. Christ, although Lord over all things, is still a gentleman. All of His approaches to me through the years have always shown Him to be a gentleman. He does not mock, or poke fun at. He has never ridiculed or belittled me. He has never put me in a position of comparison to another that I might be embarrassed or caused me to feel inferior. Rather, though the years, He has always endeavored to open to me the greatness of what I was created to be. Gently, but persistently urging me to overcome what I am now to become what I was meant to be. He has always opened the door for me. The door to every next situation in life I have seen Him to be there opening it for me. How beit, somethings it was only after the happening that I was able to see His hand. So young woman before you “tie the knot” with a man consider carefully. Has the man who is interested in you bothered to develop these traits? Do you keep fellowship with the type of people who hold these qualities of life to be of great value so that you have any reasonable hope of find a man of virtue. Do you trust God enough to hold out for Him to provide this type of man as a husband for you? Please also know that although I speak thus concerning the great patience of the Lord Jesus there will be in the end shown to be “two sides to the coin”. Christ has always shown Himself to me as gentle, but I also respond to Him. But to the soul that loves sin, in the end He will not be seen as gentle and compassionate, but will bring terror to those who have chosen to remain His enemies.

Young man, just like Christ is the initiator you have been created to be a picture of this reality. It will be expressed in your life to a young woman. This is good, it puts you in the lead, and she in the position of following. Which is a picture in itself of Christ and the Church, for He is the head, and the Church is the follower. However, I advise you to take a very careful and sober look at this calling (responsibility) that you have. Please do not think that one can have a calling without responsibility. For they are like right and left hand. A calling, with all of its hopes and ambitions, are the right hand, but responsibility with its searing sense of the possibility of loss, that is the other hand. So I say to you young man lead away. For this purpose you were created. However, do not lead without thought as to where you are going, or the manner in which you lead. For we will now speak of some of the grave consequences of that which you initiated into the wife you choose. For you are the initiator, and she is the responder. So lets look at some of the chemistry of how that will work out.

Have you ever noticed before the term husbandman being used to mean farmer? You will find this in the old English Bible. To me it is very obvious why they did this. For a husband, in his care and dealing with a wife must do the very same things that a farmer must do to bring forth from the earth the crop that he wishes. It has never been an accident that farmers bring forth crops unto harvest, and it will be no accident husband for you to “cultivate” and “nurture” your wife to see her blossom into the woman and wife she is meant to be. For he who initiates is the same as he who sows seed. The woman being the responder is the one who receives seed. God created it this way, and if you are wise and skillful you will use it to good, but if you are ignorant and foolish it will turn bad. This I promise you. In Genesis chapter one the story is told of when the Creator made the man and the woman. It is expressed that she was created to be a “help meet” for him (her husband). I will take the liberty of using the word completer in place of the words help meet. For that is truly what a woman is to a husband, she is a completer. What you bring to her, initiate, or sow into her, you will find that in a different season (which may be as little as five minutes, or it might be months or years) she'll return it to you very greatly developed and if it was good seed in the first place, you'll often see it extremely better for use and enjoyment. But if it was bad seed in which you sowed, you may likely be unpleasantly surprised at how the seed you sowed was multiplied back to you.

A farmer sows a seed of wheat. It is “lost” in the soil of the earth. In the darkness of the field it is turned into a new life. It is given a new body. It will grows up, and in time, and with the proper care will often offer a return to the farmer of a hundred fold, or perhaps even more. The husband sows the seed of his body into his wife. This is good, very good, and is in itself is a picture of the intimacy of Christ and the believer. All the strength of nature itself promotes this action, and within the bounds of God's laws it is very good. He sows the seed of his body into the blind darkness of the body of his wife. There by God's power it is given unto her to be able to experience the generation of life. This life is supported, protected, and nurtured by the man's wife for what is called the duration of pregnancy, and then delivered into the world as a child. She then presents back to him who provided the seed, the outcome of his seed, a new child. Please note that in this action there is also basic and very important wisdom. As the farmer owns the field, and as his cherished possession, he studies the field, and all things that pertain to it. How that he might within the confines of God's law reap the very greatest crop from the field. The crop as an enduring relationship with its “mother” the field, but it is owned by the farmer who will decide its destiny. In like manner the wife by God's law is owned by the husband. When he sows seed into her the fruit that she brings forth although forever related to its mother is subject to the father. He, under God, is lord and master over all of his house. Even as a field can not usurp the farmer's control over the crop. Neither can a wife usurp the control over the children that she has borne to her husband. We will speak more completely of these things at another time. Let it suffice for now to know that as a believer possesses all things with Christ, in like manner the wife has right to all that is her husband's, but only under his headship. A woman is presented by a husband a house. She takes it and puts herself into it and turns it into a comfortable place of abode. A woman is given a clerical, or secretarial, or craft, or decorating assignment. The man knows that it needs to be done, but he likely doesn't have a clue as to how to get it done, nor done right. Therefore, he gives it to a woman to do. He takes the seeds of that assignment and turns it into something wonderful. I imagine we've all seen this over and over again. In like manner a husband will sow into the soul of his wife words, actions, attitudes. These are received into the wife. They experience a time of germination within her, and if they are good seed to begin with, then they will produce a whole new “plant” which will bear multiple fruits of joy, gratitude, respect, loyalty,submission, and the such like. But woe to a husband who sows bad seed into the soul of his wife, for these seeds also will (unless she is an incredibly godly person who is able to lay them all at the feet of Jesus and forgive her husband) germinate in her and bring forth a crop of attitude and vise that you do not wish to see in her. Things such as anger, impatience, self will, forgiveness, bitterness, lack of loyalty, lack of tenderness, lack of sexual desire, etc, etc.

So let us walk wisely knowing that we were created in the world to be to God's praise, and this same wisdom holds out the greatest hope for abiding marital joy.

Headship Issues

This afternoon as I begin this article I think of the words of the Apostle Paul who lived some twenty centuries ago. Who in his time stood in defense of the Gospel of God. Which in my view of things is to say that he (Paul) stood in defense of the truth of God as it was revealed to him. In 1st Corinthians 4:1 he spoke of himself (along with others) as “MINISTERS OF CHRIST AND A STWARDS OF THE MYSTERIES OF GOD.”. Then he went on to say in verse 2, “MOREOVER IT IS REQUIRED IN STEWARDS THAT A MAN BE FOUND FAITHFUL”. I believe that it was this faithfulness to the truth contained in the revelation of the mysteries of God that caused Paul to suffer so much affliction in his life. But because of this man's faithfulness to the truth we have thirteen different books of the Bible handed done to us. In his generation the apostle Paul stood his ground for the truth's sake. I trust that this servant of God will do no less in this article.

In 1st Corinthians 11:7b the apostle speaking of the male person said, “FOR AS MUCH AS HE IS the IMAGE AND GLORY OF GOD, AND the WOMAN IS THE GLORY OF THE MAN”. The whole general context of what he was speaking of in this portion of 1st Corinthians was in reference to headship issues. Establishing the teaching of the basic core truth pertaining to headship, and that being summed up in the statemHeadship Issuesent he himself made in verse 3 of 1st Corinthians 11 which reads as follows. BUT I WOULD HAVE YOU KNOW, THAT HE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST; AND THE HEAD OF WOMAN IS THE MAN; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD. Again, that is the statement that communicates the core truth of headship. I do not believe it was popular with all people then, just like it is not popular with many in this generation. Particularly in western societies. Where we have shallowed the lie that in regards to headship that men and women are equal. It only seems reasonable to me that there were those in his generation that walked in disobedience to this truth, or he would never had to write this portion of the letter to the saint at Corinth. I find the same problem in this generation also.

Let us get back to 1st Corinthians 11:7b, where the male person is referred to by the apostle as the image and glory of God, and the woman the glory of the man. How is it that the apostle could make such a statement. I can promise you one thing, it was not the modern western mindset that influenced him to make that statement. For the modern western mindset is extremely filled with what is called the spirit of feminism that dictates that the woman is the man's equal and that she was never created for the man.....in other words that she does not now, now ever could have belonged to a man, but that she is sovereign unto herself to determine the destiny and affairs of her own life according to her own will. For if one belongs to another then the one who is the possessor, or owner, has the right of control over the other who is the possessed, or owned. I know, I know, I'm talking like a lawyer now! I know it, I know I am, but it is because we are dealing with issues of both reason and law, and they demand intelligent thought, but lets start again,,,and lets start at the beginning. Lets go back to the very creation, even before the garden of Eden, and take a close look at what is said in the Scripture and lets see if there isn't proof that men and women were created by God to the end that a believing man might live out a full and proper reflection of God Himself, and that believing women might live out a full and proper reflection of what the Church is called to be. The mystery spoken of by Paul in Ephesians chapter 5:32, and that this mystery also works in respect to issues of headship.

Obviously if you are reading this article and you are of the persuasion that there is no creator, but that the doctrine of evolution is correct, then you might just as well know right up front that I perceive the doctrine of evolution be the absolute biggest farce that human history has ever come with. That it is nothing sort of a lie from the pit of hell, sown among men to deceive naive souls that refuse to pursue the love of the truth. So, if you do believe in evolution and have not yet turned me off then I welcome you (if you can stomach looking at what the Scripture has to say) to tag along and consider what this man in his view of the Scriptures has to say, not only about our origins, but about the very purpose of mankind.

The very first chapter of the book of Genesis is devoted to a day by day account of God creating the heavens and the earth. The writer of the Biblical book of Hebrews, chapter 11:3, (THROUGH FAITH WE UNDERSTAND THAT HE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD, SO THAT THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN WERE NOT MADE OF THINGS WHICH DO APPEAR) tells us that an invisible God created all things visible. The earth, the planets, the stars, everything, and He (God) did this by the spoken word. He spoke it and it was so. The apostle Paul in the book of Colossians 1:15-16 gives further witness that not only things visible, but also all things that are invisible were also created by God, performing it in the person of Jesus Christ before He came to earth and put on the likeness of men. ( St. John 1:14, Philippians 2:1-11) This would include all angels, both those who are good and those who have chosen to taken on evil as their nature. In other words demons. And, any other life form that may exist.

This God, whom I perceive, and the Bible testifies to be the only God, is the source of all things. I contend that He is infinite in intelligence and in power, and along with that He is good and pure in nature, being described as love. I testify to you that this God had only good intentions in mind for all of His creation, and especially mankind, the highest of all of creation, who was, in God's genius and power created to be a natural living illustration of Himself and the chief object of His great love, the Church. I contend that God still has good intention for all men, in so much as men will seek and obey Him. Further I contend that the understanding and the the living out of the truth (that all that pertains to the natural man is to reflect God Himself, and all that pertains to the natural woman is to be a proper reflection of the Church) is the glory and purpose of the husband and the wife, in Christ our Lord. That the noble and wise God lovingly created us to be His children, like unto Himself, that we in our natural selves would live out his laws and promises and in so doing reflect his person and purpose. So any doctrine, whatever it might be called, that promotes in any sense the idea that chance had anything to do with man's creation is totally rejected by me. For I believe that according to the most intelligent and detailed design we were created in all details to fulfill the most awesome and noble of purposes, and that is to reflect God, and His purposes in the Church. Amen!

As it was said earlier God created day by day the various elements of the natural world and heavens. From all appearances it was on the sixth day that He created the first man who was called Adam, and the first woman whom Adam named Eve. The creation of this first man is spoken of in particular terms in Genesis 2:7. AND THE LORD GOD FORMED MAN OF THE DUST OF THE GROUND, AND BREATHED INTO HIS NOSTRILS the BREATH OF LIFE; AND MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL. So it is seen that Adam was first created, and then after his creation he was commissioned to be caretaker of the what has come to be known as the Garden of Eden. A garden that God had planted in which he placed Adam. He gave to Adam the commandment that He must not eat of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but that he could eat of any other that he wished to. Further, God brought to Adam every beast of the field and every fowl of the air and Adam gave names unto all of these creatures. It is obvious in this statement that this first man was very highly intelligent to be able to name all the of earth's creatures. And let me remind you that Adam is our natural father, we all sprang forth from him through his wife Eve, who is not yet come into the picture. The Scripture then testified that a “help meet” was not found for Adam. The Scripture does not testify that it was bad or evil for Adam to be found alone, but that God's purposes might progress, our creator caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam and He then performed the first surgery. He opened up Adam's side and removed a rib, and then closed up Adam's flesh. God then took the rib and from it created the first woman, whom Adam later named Eve. At first she was only referred to as woman. The reason given for this is that this name, or title was descriptive of what she was. She was a person taken from the flesh of a man. Adam was created from the dust of the earth. Eve was created by God from the flesh of a man who was to be her husband. After she was created she was presented by God to Adam. A gift from God to the man. A gift that was created to be his wife and in that position the highest and greatest treasure and responsibility that he had. After giving her the description of woman, which means, taken from man, Adam by the wisdom that was in him from God made the proclamation of what was to be the way of mankind from that point onward, that a man would leave his father and mother and cleave to a wife, and that they would participate in being one flesh. That in simple terms means that they should exercise sexual union, and thus by the union of their bodies produce by God's power children. Two separate bodies of flesh to produce a third, in the form of a child. All of these statements are supported by the Scriptures found in Genesis 2:8-25.

So we have in these Scriptures that I have explained the elements of the reasoning why the apostle Paul taught in all the churches that man was head over the woman. That in particular terms the husband was head over the wife, but in general terms the man is head over the woman. It is because man was created first by God to reflect His image in a natural state. The woman was created after the man, and coming forth from the man was created to reflect the man's image, and thus the very glory of his heart. She still reflecting God's image, but through the man. For she came forth from the man. Reason dictates that nothing can be greater than that which created it, or than that which it came forth from. In other words. Man can never be equal or greater then God, for God created him. In like manner the woman can not be greater or equal to the man in that she came forth from the man. Not only reason dictates this but we'll soon see that the very commandment of God dictates this also. For God's commandments are never outside of proper reason. In fact the psalmist said in Psalms 119:51 THOU ARE NEAR, O LORD; AND ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE TRUTH. Surely it can be said that the truth is reasonable! I believe that in God's eyes truth is the only thing that is reasonable.

Genesis chapter three speaks of the fall of man into sin. In brief terms the devil, Satan, in the form of a serpent speaks to Eve and suggests to her in a half truth type of proposition that she would not die from eating the forbidden fruit, but in fact she would gain wisdom and enlightenment, and that her position would be made higher in that she would be like a god. The Scripture testifies in 1 Tim 2:14 that Eve was deceived, and she took the devil's bait and ate of that which had been forbidden of them to eat, or even to touch. Then she took the fruit to her husband who was not at all ignorant or deceived as to what was going on, but in full knowledge ate the forbidden fruit along with Eve. It is my determination that Adam made the conscious decision to sin against God because after Eve had eaten the forbidden fruit he was afraid of loosing her. He consciously choose rather then to lead the woman, as he was created to do, to follow her, and to follow her into sin. For Adam could have, and I believe should have taken Eve and present her and himself before God and said, “here we are, now what do we do?” My testimony to you is that God always has a way, and even at that time would have had a way for restoration for them if they would have come to Him in humility of heart, willing to confess and forsake their sin. Later the Lord came walking through the garden and did not find the man and the woman so He called out to them. Adam answered that they were hiding because they were naked and were ashamed of being seen that way. The Lord then asked them who had told them they were naked, and had they eaten of the forbidden fruit? Please note, although God asked them these questions that does not mean for a moment that he did not already know the answers. I believe God was asking them these questions to bring them to a place of confession of their sin, for confession can lead to forgiveness and restoration, for this is always God's way. But in stead the first man and the first woman made excuses for themselves and put the blame on someone other then themselves. The serpent was then cursed to crawl on his belly forever, and the first light of the redemption of man kind from sin was at that moment spoken when it was said by God to the devil that One would come forth from the woman whom he (the devil) had deceived and would one day crush his (the devil's) head. This of coarse speaking of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who was born of a virgin woman many generations later. The woman (Eve) was told that sorrow would be added to conception and child birth, and that her husband would be the ruler over her. To the man (Adam) it was told that the ground would be cursed and that it would bring forth thorns and thistles, and that by the sweat of his face he would work out his existence until his death. He became by God's decree chiefly responsible for provision for himself and his family in a cursed world. Ouch! These truths are spoken of in Genesis chapter three.

So we have it by reason and by the commandment of God that man was given headship over the woman. Not because of sin, (although sin had entered into the picture) for headship was established by design from the very creation, for male headship reflects God's person and purpose. And the person of the woman reflects the attributes of the believing person. Which is a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, even as a wife is to be a follower of her husband. Now let us begin to draw some down to earth everyday conclusions from what has been said to this point. As it is said, “where the rubber meets the road.” In this case I suppose we ought to say “where the rubber of the wheel of theology meets the road of practical living”. The which we will see through both the commandments of the law and the exhortations of the New Testament apostles. But before we do that let us again state the basic contention of this article. That a wise and powerful God created all human kind both male and female as living natural pictures of Himself and His purpose in the Church. This was distorted by the introduction of sin into human race. However, through the redemptive work of Jesus, and by the regeneration and power of the Holy Spirit God's original objective of having a full illustration of Himself and His purposes in the Church lived out in mortals through husbands and wives that seek Him to walk out His ways by faith is still very much in place. Why do I state this contention again? Because it is in brief terms the description of the MYSTERY spoken of by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:32. Therefore it behooves us to seek out this understanding for it is the purpose for which we were created. And the most simple and basic logic in my estimation dictates that anything that is operating within the parameters of its designed purpose will function exceedingly better then something used out of its designed purpose. In other words, unto God's praise, our lives will be greatly exalted if we will seek, and then live out the truth pertaining to why we were created, in stead of living by the wisdom and standards of men.

Here are three bottom line conclusions as to the nature of how that male headship, which is a picture of the headship that Jesus possesses over the Church (Ephesians 1:22), is to be fleshed out in the lives and affairs of men. First of all that men in general rule. Male headship, ruler ship, or government, which ever term you may choose to use, is the pattern of the Scripture and reflects accurately the Lordship of Jesus. The reading of the Scripture by honest hearts shows this to be historically true among godly people, and true as to the commandments of the law, and the exhortation of the apostles. Secondly, in particular terms a husband, or the father of a virgin woman is to be absolute in authority over his wife or daughter as the case may be. This is reflected in the absolute nature of the authority of the Lord Jesus over the Church, and in the future will be seen in all aspects of society when Christ returns in bodily form to rule in the earth. This is why the apostle Paul voiced the statement found in Ephesians 5:22-24.Thirdly, that this authority is given to men, however it must be acted out in the spirit and character of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for a man to not govern himself to conduct himself after the manner which is illustrative of how Christ rules over His own is a great sin. For the authority that is found in the very person of a man, in particularly in the person of a husband is not given to serve one's self, but to the well being of his wife and their children. This is shown by pattern in how Jesus gave Himself for the good of the church. He did not give Himself to the Church, that the Church can rule over Him, but rather He gave Himself for the Church to bring her to Himself and bring her along to complete fulfillment. This is the pattern of life that the husband must follow. Yes, by God's law he has total authority in the lives of his own, but it must be used to the benefit in the Lord of those that are his own.

The every day applications of these truths are to many to reasonably attempt to list here in any detail, and I am confident that I do not possess the wisdom to do such a thing. However, I will list a number of fundamental applications and comment briefly on them. As I do please allow me to offer this exhortation. If the truth of this teaching rings in your heart it will bring difficulty into your life. I say this because not only will your own fleshly nature want to revolt against God's truth, but the great flow of western society is very contrary to these truths, therefore you will be as one paddling a canoe up stream. Many times you will find yourself standing all alone. Every inch you'll travel will not be without a price. I say this to any man or any woman endeavoring to answer the call of truth, there is glory and joy in the Lord in pressing into His will, which means living out His truth. Oh yes it is sweet and good! But it is a bittersweet glory and joy, for it will bring with it tribulation in the world. The ungodly are not so. For in the arrogance and blindness of their hearts they are carefree, caring only to do what is pleasant to them at the moment. Yes, yes, by and by it will catch up with them and they will pay the consequences of their sinful actions, but in the meantime, before their sins begin to catch up with them it is tempting for the Christian man or woman to look at the life of the unbeliever and think, “why do strive to walk out the narrow way of truth for it is difficult, while the way of the sinner is wide and easy?” At such times you much remember O Christian, that this world is not your final home, you are just passing through. So glorify God in all your actions, for this will lift you and bring you great reward in due time.

It is ungodly for a woman to exercise a civil vote. This very truth is what our nation's founding fathers realized and lived in their generation. Therefore they by the constitution limited the right to vote, (which is a element of elder ship) to men. For a woman to exercise a civil vote is for her to usurp the place and authority of either her father if she is virgin or her husband if she is a married woman. Both in their maleness stand as a picture of the authority and headship of Christ.

For a woman to adorn herself in short hair like unto a man is ungodly and unwise. The doing of which always speaks of either ignorance pertaining to God's ways, or rebellion, or a combination of both. The hair of a woman is a natural covering given by God for a woman to wear in the expression that she is under the headship of male government. This in particular terms means her father if she is a virgin, and her husband if she is a married woman. A woman of faith should want to have her hair distinct fully longer than what a man would, showing that she in no sense wishes to be thought to be taking on manly attributes.

For a man to wear long hair as a woman would is without exception sponsored by either rebellion or ignorance, or a combination of the two. The man was created by God to be the direct illustration of Himself, and under Christ he is sovereign, and equal to all other men. Being in this position he has right to make his way in the world which ever way he may deem best in so much as he is within the parameters of the laws of God and of man. He needs this to be the illustration of God, and to make the way of those that are His own in the world according to his application of wisdom and diligence. It was the understanding of this truth that caused our (if you are a US citizen) national fathers to coin the statement used in the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. “we find these truths to be self evident that all men were created equal....” The hair of the man must be worn short in that hair is a God given symbol of covering, and the man must not show the sign that he has surrendered his personal sovereignty to any anything or any body. He needs this sovereignty to play out God's will in his life. The woman, who is the picture of the Church was never created with this sovereignty, but was created to be under submission. The husband desiring her, calls her to himself, and in love makes her apart of his calling and shares every provision that is his with her. This is a picture of Christ and the Church.

It is ungodly for a woman to be in the place of authority over men in regards to the headship of the local Church. The reasoning for this is the same as the reasoning that stands in regards to women operating a civil vote. To do it she must needs usurp the authority of the male gender which by creation she was made to be in submission to.

It is ungodly and unlawful for a woman to be in the position of the teacher of men in regards to the dictates of life from the Scripture. For her to do this is to act contrary to the illustration of truth embodied in the fact that it is Christ who teaches the Church, it is not the Church which teaches Christ. The principle of this is why the apostle Paul commanded that women keep silence in the Churches. Now some would maintain that this means an absolute silence and others would say that it means that she is not to be the teacher, and others would completely disregard this commandment entirely. I maintain that at the very least she must not be set up as a teacher.

A woman that prays or prophesies in public ought always to wear in addition to the covering of her hair a covering of fabric of one sort or another. It is my contention that the apostle commanded this in that he understood the huge force of wickedness that has been constantly at work from the beginning of time to influence the woman to seek to usurp the man's place of headship. Also that the man in the weakness of his devotion to the truth is so commonly willing to surrender his headship and it's associated responsibility to the woman. Therefore, when by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit the woman is moved to pray or to prophesy she is saying by her action of applying a fabric covering that she wishes to continue in alignment with the truth of God and not in any sense promote that she is in authority equal to or above any male headship. The male headship seeing this, says amen to it and faithful men are encouraged to “play the man”, and to fulfill their role as leaders and not to forsake or surrender their headship in any way.

It is ungodly for a woman to sit as a juror of judge over a man! The answer to why this is true is seen very easily when one considers the fact that the woman was created to be the illustration of the Church and the man the illustration of the Lord. Therefore, does the Church, or will the Church ever sit in judgment over the Lord? NO. For a woman to do this to to usurp the male sovereignty and to live out a slanderous picture of Christ and the Church. There can be found many possible scenarios in life in regards to a woman being in the position of usurping the place or sovereignty of a man, such as in the case of a woman police officer, a woman officer in the military, a woman in a ranking government position, etc. These are all answered by this same principle, which sums them up as ungodly actions. This should be to any faithful man and woman clear evidence as to why America has somewhere near a 70% divorce rate for first time marriages, and as I understand it nearly one half of our society refuses to marry at all. Most in America, and the western world live far from these truth.

The idea of what is called no fault divorce is a total abomination to the truth of God! For in the picture of Christ and the Church where is divorce found? Accept that the believer forsakes his faith, throws it away, and thus divorces himself from the Lord. For the Lord is ever faithful to those that abide in Him. He will never throw away (divorce) those that abide in Him.

In the event of divorce the idea or practice of a woman suing her husband for a portion of the estate is ungodly. It is not a complicated thing to answer. For if the woman belongs to the husband, in brief and simple terms his possession, and thus his responsibility, he has no right to put her away and she has not right to leave him and then sue him for property. For can the one who is owned by the other leave the owner and then turn around and sue the owner for whatever other property he may have? For by God's law she is his property and thus his responsibility. She is his property, but not a property like houses and cars, to be brought and sold, but a possession that is dear to him and given by God for him to be steward of, and in such a manner that the man's dealings with his wife reflect God's dealing with the Church.

I ask you, does the believing person not belong to Christ? If you are a Christian, do you not “lock, stock and barrel” belong to Christ your Lord? I suggest to you that you do belong to Him in this way, but if you do not realize it in your own heart and mind it is to your lose and shame, and one day you will be held in account for your lack of surrender to God. Now I will speak to the other side of the coin. To you O man who might put away your wife from yourself for any reason not supported by the testimony of the Scripture, in which there are exceedingly few. If you do not love and support that one whom you share marriage vows with but put her away and from your self, then I would be afraid if I were you that Christ our Lord may reject you one day just like you reject your wife. For you to divorce your wife for any reason that is not Scripturally supported is to mock the truth and to live in a manner that is slanderous to the truth. For all men were created by God to live in a manner that the actions of our lives reflect the truth. Remember the human relationships mirror the heavenly ones, and the heavenly relationships mirror the earthly, human ones. Thus the lives of all of us say something. So, do our lives speak the truth, or do they speak a lie. For a wife to leave her husband is a picture of a believer leaving the Lord Jesus, such a picture is slanderous in nature and must not be lived out. If a wife leaves her husband, which she should not do, but if she does, she should not seek to sue him for what is his but return to her father's home, or her brother's home, or create her own her own, but she must not sue the one who is her head. For that is the picture of the believer leaving the Lord Jesus, forsaking Him and His ways, and taking as much of what belongs to Jesus with him as he can when he goes.

In the event of a wife wrongfully (unscripturally) divorcing a husband she must not use the power of the government to sue the husband for his children, stealing them away from him. First of all God hates divorce and by the Scripture exceedingly little of the divorce seen in modern America is in line with the truth, but is in itself sin before God. ( If feel I must take a moment and add this note. Woe to you many religious leaders who in this generation who do not call the wickedness of divorce for what it is, but wink at it continually, thus allowing its promotion. If a man is viewed as a minister of Christ then he must bring forth God's judgment and not that of man's. This is in regards to divorce and all other issues for the teacher will be judged in a stricter manner. James 3:1) For a woman to use the power of government to wrongfully leave her husband and then sue him for his children is to live the picture of a believer leaving the Lord and taking some of God's children with him when he goes from the Lord. Yes, this does happen. There are those in the wickedness of their hearts who abandon faith and take men and women with them in their rebellion. If a husband in sin puts away his wife from himself then my judgment is simply summed up in this statement, “the crop of the field goes with the field”. In other words, if the wife is not good enough for the husband, then neither is the crop (the children) that she produced for him. For it is true that he owns the “field”, but if the field does not please him so that he wickedly throws it away, then the crop of that field goes with the field. So in that case let the children remain with their mother, for the father did not love them anyway. For if a man will not love the mother, then how can it be said that he loves the children?

There are many situations of life that can be rightly answered in regards to the male female relationship in regards to headship with understanding and faith to apply these principles. In short any action of either man or woman, husband or wife that does not mirror its heavenly counterpart is sin, and must be turned from. Using this as a guide along with the direct written commandments of the Lord and the exhortation of the apostles it is entirely possible to possess understanding of how to to live out these elements of wisdom and righteousness before God, the which will bring God's blessing and approval upon any man, upon any woman, upon any family and its posterity, or any nation. This poem was coined and then published by myself some years ago when I was alone in the world. We will use it as an example of the truth of the article which will be posted in the near future, which is that Christ is the initiator. Which when summed up means that He first sought us out. Oh yes, we had to respond to Him for there to be a relationship, but we only love Him because He first loved us. This picture is to be seen in the life of the man, who then becomes the husband.
